One day, Chuck meets McLeod on a ferry when McLeod witnesses Chuck in an act of vandalism borne of escalating frustration. It’s clear from the film that Chihiro, who started out as an arrogant brat, was spirited away to teach her to be a better person in the real world. The whole time he walks silently behind her with his back arched in a way that resembles a child who’s just learned the true meaning of consequences. Chuck is forcibly taken to a psychiatrist, who Chuck correctly suspects is also biased against McLeod.

With his assumed large amount of wealth, No-Face became a sensation with the workers who constantly begged for tips from him.Stephen King initially attributed Donald DeFreeze, the lead kidnapper in the Patty Hearst case, as his inspiration for Randall Flagg.

Some were friendly, others cruel, but none of his encounters deterred Robinson from his nightly walks.Hustle Punch (1965) • Horus, Prince of the Sun (1968) • Animal Treasure Island (1971) • Lupin the Third Part I (1971) • Panda! However, at night, he went for long walks on a quiet stretch of State Route 351, feeling his way along with a walking stick. The Story of Yanagawa's Canals (1987) • Miyazaki and Kurosawa Fireside Chat (1993) • Ghibli Was Born This Way: A Birth Story Spelled Out With Reproduced Images (1998) • World Journey of My Memory / Journey of the Heart (1998) • How Princess Mononoke Was Born (2001) • Lasseter-San, Arigato! An ominous, expressionless mask with grey-violet highlights is painted on his "head" of sorts, and while there is a "mouth" painted on the mask, No-Face has shown that his real, expertly-hidden mouth is larger than the one present on his mask. Their founders were slaves who worked in the mines under the Fourteen Fires, the great volcanic mountain chain whose eruption destroyed the Valyrian Freehold four centuries ago.

In their overzealousness to prove themselves worthy, they sometimes rub people the wrong way by doing things like trying to force friendships or pretending to be something that they’re not to gain approval and popularity. When No-Face throws the world’s biggest tantrum and Chihiro calms him down using the medicine, you could say that she was, in fact, calming her own nerves. Angered in assuming that a worker insulted him, No-Face consumes two other people, and his true nature is revealed to the horrified workers. While this ultimately brought upon the opposite effect, Chihiro was somewhat true to No-Face after she invited him and accepted help from him.Later in the film, when his true mouth is revealed (not the one painted on the mask), there isn’t a fang in sight.
