the sexual tension was to die for. one of the BEST sexual tension books for me. i know many people didn’t like this book bc of all the red flags they heard or read or bla bla. anything said is so out of context bc me just repeating what this book is about would put a normal person off. but goddamn it. i went blind and i FELT. this book is centered on miscommunication. but they communicated everything yet still didn’t trust each other’s words. so basically they communicated but didn’t know what was real what was not. The writing, the main characters, - terrible. Selfish. And the whole “oh Remi you are just the most special girl in the world” and the other female characters hated her for being so special and taking all their shine literally made me want to burn the book. Spare me that bs please.

Kid scared the hell out of the horses on delivery yesterday,” Bill continued. “ And he came this close to side-swiping Mulvaney’s new Arctic Cat last week. You know we’d never hear the end of that.” Since I have read romance, one of the main conflicts presented is the idea that one of the partners feels they aren't worthy of the other. There is something in the past, maybe not even of their doing that has caused this feeling of not being able to fully love the other person. It can cause so much pain and misunderstandings...and reflects so much of Real Life. I want to use you. I want to ruin you." - Male leading character, trying to charm the female leading character and prove to her how much he loves her. Too much smut. If you’ve looked at my GR shelves, you’re probably side-eyeing me 👀. Believe me, I’m there with you reading my own words, but the sheer volume just downplayed the romance & the plot too often in the second half. So much so I actually began skipping parts of the love scenes — if not all together later on. It felt so “wash, rinse & repeat” along with their kink just not being mine. {“hero” is POed at the heroine, instant steel rod in his pants, & they screw, then repeat.} At the end we have 4 people who are very close to each other, in an almost incesty vibe - as one happy family.hero was married to heroine’s bff years after the bff and heroine stop talking. hero then divorces the bff. YEARS later heroine and hero reunite. Intense, sizzling, and hot. Probably the hottest book I've read by this author yet. It went from intense slow burn, with so much longing, teasing, and soulful heart to an amazingly sexy and scorching hot romance. So glad this is a series and not a once in a Blue Moon story. Lucy Score takes you on a return trip to Blue Moon in Not Part of the Plan. It feels like a trip home with the familiar characters, the laughter and most importantly the love. The great thing about this book is that it reminds us about all of the different kinds of love in the world, romantic love, friend love, family love and community love. Niko is an interesting character that takes a trip to Blue Moon to visit a friend and discovers a part of himself he didn't realize was missing. Get ready to fall for Niko and For Blue Moon to steal your heart again. - Just Me

Want to see something that will cheer you up?” He pulled out his phone. “Unless it’s that pit bull in the bathtub wearing a shower cap, no.” Two childhood friends. Two broken hearts. One impromptu road trip to get away from everything. That’s all this was supposed to be. Afterall, I’ve been living in the friend zone for years now. Like earlier said, Lucy Score does a fantastic job in her characterization. You will enjoy reading about the initially arranged romance between Luke and Harper. Harper, the heroine is affectionate, cheerful, kind, hardworking and courageous. Also, Luke, the male protagonist is funny, sweet, mysterious and intense. Something happened to him that he is not able to forget and that has made him not able to advance in many aspects of his life. Other characters that appear in the story include Aldo, Sophie, Gloria, Claire, Charlie, Frank, Joni, and Ty who are essential to the story.I also hated the sister and her best friend. There seemed to be a theme of crapping all over Remi bc of their insecurities and it’s like no big deal but it definitely should have been. as much as i wanna get into explaining the plot and the characters. i dont know how to do that. it’ll just put everyone off. no words can describe how complicated yet uncomplicated this book was. Part of me doesn’t even want to write this review. I’m in a very “what’s the point” place, mentally. But I’m going to say a few things - mostly about me or about my reaction to this book. So take this for whatever it’s worth.

Forever Never: an unmissable and steamy romantic comedy from

I love it when you box me in like this. When you don't give me an escape." - Doormat, erm, female leading character, sorry again. And it's not a cynical comment, she really means it. Davis spends his days gently wrestling control of the family winery from his father’s semi-retired hands. He doesn’t have time for things like dating and love. Especially since he never got over hurting his dream girl in a fog of teenage stupidity. Now, they’re neighbors… and the latest generation to carry on their families’ ridiculous, fifty-year feud. Despite that, there were so many delicious things about this book. A free spirited, quirky h who had the world’s interest at heart. A moody stoic H who loved the h but felt he wouldn’t be good enough for her so kept himself at arms distance emotionally. Watching them bumble through this metaphorical wall of past hurts, of insecurities, of frustrations was entertaining to watch. The island and its inhabitants sounded lovely and was described beautifully. This book is basically about a hero who makes it his life’s mission to push the heroine away because he believes he’s not good enough for her and that she has places to be without him. Heights to reach and dreams to fulfil without him. His whole life revolves around letting her go, yet he can’t help himself when she’s around. The push and pull is exhausting but thrilling. It took him weeks to prepare mentally, to gird himself before being forced to exchange casual greetings across the dinner table. His reason? Because he was convinced she was just like his mother, and didn't want the small town life. Now, mind you, he never actually ASKED her what she wanted. He decided FOR her what her life should look like, and brutally, and repeatedly, rejected her for it. He repeatedly chose his own emotional safety over hers, for years. THEN they finally get together, and he dumps her... rejecting her... AGAIN.... because he still won't ask her what she wants with her life. He just assumes she is like his mother. There is more to the story than just this major connection between two people. There is a woman who needs to escape from an abusive relationship, there are families and their pasts, and the dynamics of parents/husbands and wives. There is so much for every reader.
