The Statfold Barn Enthusiast and Photography Days. have become overtime, an important event in the Narrow-gauge Calendar. The opportunity to see at close quarters the locos and rolling stock, the Engineering Shop that not only helps keep the Statfold Barn Railway on the ‘rails’, but other heritage lines too, is just too good to miss. On September the 8th this year will be one of the biggest events in the ever increasing Statfold annual programme. Not only will the Railway be running an extensive all day schedule but there will be more traction engines on site than in previous years. Vintage cars, Land Rovers, Motorbikes will all be on show along with various North American trucks. A steam saw mill will be working, demonstrating the way timber was milled years ago. Inside the Museum Hall there will be stalls selling railway memorabilia and books. Representatives from other Heritage lines as well as Railway modellers will be present to enlighten our visitors as to what is happening in the wider world of modelling, railway preservation and transport in general over the years. http://www.statfoldbarnrailway.co.uk
