A friendly show featuring a wide range of working demonstrations, static exhibits and activities. Arranged by the Nottinghamshire Group of the National Vintage Tractor & Engine Club this show is held annually over the August Bank holiday weekend and this year will be held again on a fantastic site at Bothamsall, just a couple of miles from the A1. Autumn Gift And Craft Fair Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October 2019 10.00am – 4.00pm Once again the Gift & Craft Fair returns to Lamport Hall. With over 80 stalls showcasing handcrafted jewellery, decorative glassware, unique arts, clothing, accessories, cards, artisan foods, homemade jams, chutneys, fudge, and other gifts, visitors are able to browse a variety of indulgent treats for themselves or seek inspiration for some early Christmas shopping. Housed under cover in our Edwardian stable block, you can shop ’til you drop whatever the weather! The fair has been a yearly fixture for over twenty years, and is sure to be a great day out for all the family. Disabled parking is available and disabled toilets are available at the house. Please note that although the event is held mostly on one level, there are some gravelled and cobbled areas in the stables. There are also gravelled paths in the gardens. Please note that credit/debit cards cannot be used for entry to the event or house/garden entry. The nearest cash machine is in Brixworth village.

Held over the Annual May Day Bank Holiday Weekend and for many years now the same weekend as the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza where the streets are filled with Vintage, Victorian and Present Day Fair Ground Rides, Full size Steam Engines, Street Parades, Street Entertainers, Victorian Window Displays & Victorian Dressed Public. 2020’s event both will have a bit more focusing on the 75th Anniversary of VE Day due to us having to move the event’s to coincide with it so instead of a Saturday, Sunday and Monday event, We will be hosting the Llandudno Transport Festival on Friday 8th , Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2020, We will be looking forward to period 1945 vehicles to take part in various activities(in discussion at present) to celebrate VE Day be it Military or Civilian involvement . The Towns and Fields Activities are linked together by a free shuttle bus service provided by some of the vintage buses attending the Transport Festival. A fun day out for all the family & a great way to start the summer Nothing quite beats the nostalgia & fun of Carrington Rally! From the great steam engines to the mini models and trade stands, there is plenty to see and do over the two-day event. Lots of attractions are booked for this year and we still have plenty of caravan space left for those looking to soak up the whole experience. During the day we have lots of different entertainment and live music playing. In the evenings we also have more entertainment, fairground rides and Steam Engines providing a glowing warm atmosphere.
