He soon finds out that she is grieving a family member’s death, (trying to avoid spoilers) so he all of a sudden decides that he needs to be there for her.

It was beyond infuriating to have both Hardin and Tessa constantly making themselves out to be the victim, but especially Hardin.They dragged too many people into their toxic relationship and it started to affect not only the lovebird’s life but everyone’s life around them.

While there was something undeniably juicy and fun and fast about reading the other books–which are told in real time–Anna’s writing shines in After Ever Happy due to all the changes. Anna was always an avid reader and boy band and romance lover, so now that she's found a way to combine the three she's enjoying living a real-life dream come true. I was just reading along minding my own business and WHAM, all of a sudden I found myself thinking " Huh, wow I finally get Hardin.

I would love to go into more detail about the conclusion of this series and the end of the book but I feel that if I did I would be cheating you of experiencing one of the most emotional endings I have ever read in a series.
