On the evening of Saturday 24th March 2018, come and experience the sights and sounds of bus travel around Oxford city centre as it would have been in the 1960’s. It’s a great nostalgia trip travelling aboard buses built in the 1950’s and ’60s with tungsten lighting and a conductor issuing traditional paper tickets and calling “Anymore fares please?”
We will use a selection of the beautifully preserved vintage buses from the collection of the Oxford Bus Museum.
Buses will run very 15 minutes from 18:00hours until approx. 20:30hours. They will operate a circular tour around Oxford city centre, passing many of the famous colleges and other landmarks made famous in the Inspector Morse tv series.
All bus rides are free and there’s no need to book. Visit our website for further information: www.oxfordbusmuseum.org.uk
