Again this is another one in my collection that I can recommend for those who only want to have one cologne for all purpose(just like I used to). Not very different to be real and the name is funny , it should not have been atleast" just different" which is so dumb. But then this whole thing that smells modern and a some synthetic, turns in something poor, rancid, and truly synthetic. I get the feeling that my perception of Hugo as a little bit dare I say 'Teutonic' in their fragrances and clothing line (read efficient, safe, reliable) tends to prejudice my view of their offerings.The fragrance has top notes of Mint and Granny Smith Apple; middle notes of Basil, Freesia and Coriander; and base notes of Casheram, Patchouli, Olibanum and Labdanum. But before any of the newer flankers came out, I always thought that if this was refined some more that it would work. I can see myself definitely enjoying this on a Crisp fall day for sure but so far I've enjoyed it in the summer heat. It smells balanced and well rounded, ladies really love this scent, it's a compliment getter too for sure. A vibrant, modern fragrance composed of iced mint, fressia, basil, and aromatic musks, presented in a sleek black flask.

Hold the fragrance approx 5 inches away and spray your skin, focusing on pulse points (neck, wrists etc) and/or spray generously in front of you and walk through for a full coverage. The apple note Smell's a bit sour to me it has basil and some mint only lasts for around 4 hour's and projects for an hour I much preferred the original Hugo it was a much fresher scent. This is not the freshest scent out there; not very citrus/water heavy like say Kenzo L'Eau par Kenzo, but it is still fresh in it's own minty way.

For others , this one is same old thing which has been copied to so many perfumes (in 2010's) like paco rabanne one million , armani code sport , invictus etc.The spices are noticeable but not prominent, particularly the basil which gives a green herbal touch; the coriander contributes with a sweet, spicy, slightly peppery accord. i think hugo boss can evolve this line, maybe a just different intense version could be very interesting. An hour later I finally got some greens, earth, and patchouli; which in 2 hours swells to all patchouli.
