After a brush with his very handsome colleague, Adachi realizes the guy has a raging crush on none other than Adachi himself! is a pleasant surprise, a gentle and cute romantic comedy told with a light touch; there’s something rather endearing about two 30-something salarymen’s mundane lives being transformed by a sprinkle of magic. I've watched 2gether, The Eighth Sense, Kieta Hatsukoi and I loved them all, but I'm convinced that there will be nothing to top this masterpiece. After a brush with his very handsome colleague, Adachi realizes he has a raging crush on none other than Adachi himself. The fact that Kurosawa being considerate of him is one of the major reasons Adachi starts liking him is just something we rarely see in romances and it makes this story so refreshing.

Adachi had lots of instances where he was unwillingly subjected to Kurosawa's thoughts and fantasies about him - other than the beginning of the book, Adachi mostly didn't touch Kurosawa on purpose, but some touches were unavoidable. This series is kind of hard to read, especially with the long wait times between the short volumes, because it's so similar to the live action show that I keep forgetting which parts I've already read, and which I've just seen. Now that could change in the following books but it was a really nice break from most Yaoi plot basis's. We’ve actually covered a decent amount of BL manga here on Mangasplaining, though there’s always room for more.

An hour after it was posted, Ito, an editor who had been following her work for some time, offered her a publishing deal through Twitter. Not only does this ability make his journey to work and back by crowded subway almost unbearable, due to the cacophony of other people’s thoughts, but he also realizes that his good-looking, talented co-worker Kurosawa has fallen for him. I also really like that we got to see Adachi finally tell Kurosawa the truth about being a wizard and seeing how Kurosawa handles that new knowledge.Hardly any backgrounds, but at least relatively easy to follow, although I'm grateful that Adachi and Kurosawa had different hair color, or I might occasionally have had difficulty telling them apart.

Kengo Urabe ( 浦部 健吾, Urabe Kengo) Portrayed by: Suzunosuke (TV drama) [6] Urabe is Adachi's co-worker. While dealing with the awkwardness of being able to hear Kurosawa's rather forthright feelings towards him, Adachi comes to terms with how much Kurosawa values him and starts to develop reciprocal feelings of his own. This technique gives the story, which I suppose is predominantly created as a romantic comedy, a more serious undertone. In a weekly survey for the Drama Satisfaction Ranking, the live-action television drama adaptation received 27/100 points for its first episode, 63/100 points for the second episode, and 79/100 points for the third episode. When Adachi reads Kurosawa's mind while staying at his apartment overnight, he gets to see Kurosawa's fantasies about him wearing special pajamas he just offered Adachi.

There’s a lot of comics about just chilling out these days, and they’re almost all coming from Japan.
