During a successful and highly commended service spanning 15 years, Jamie was at the forefront of dealing with armed and dangerous criminality across Police Firearms, Specialist Covert Operations and Protective Services, including working within dedicated Hostage Rescue Response teams for the 2012 Olympic Games, and numerous Royal and high profile Political visits. Other standout titles include "The Dragon Cometh", a poetry tour de force and follow up to groundbreaking titles such as the graphic novel, "Armed And Deadly", novella, "Corruption Isn't Sexy", "HaiKen", a book of Haiku, poetry and photography as well as "Time Is Not Linear". Jamie went onto qualify as a Specialist Firearms Officer, achieving the coveted status of ‘ Police SFO’. As a former UK Police Officer, Jamie was one of the youngest officers in the country to qualify and become authorised as a Police Firearms Officer.

In 2014, following a career break, and finding his services in high demand, Jamie left the Police and went onto develop a number of successful businesses.
