The opening hits you with a lot of sweetness and vanilla, the oud and woody notes step forward during the drydown and tone down the sugary opening a bit. Instant crush kinda smells like BR540 but more sharp/woody and personally I don’t like that fragrance at all. It combines aromatic, resinous juniper, rich, smoky leather and herbal green mate for an intriguing, heady yet fresh result. I still smell those light white floral notes in the background, but it's mostly woods with some sweetness.

Clean smoke floods in, pervading the room because dad didn't open the floo quite all the way, but it doesn't overwhelm the other notes. This fragrance presents a beautiful yet linear scent profile; what you spray is exactly what you get. I had a 10ml decant of this for testing as for me MM fragrances are always hit or miss, I love some, I dislike others, none of them are in the middle.

I don't think I'd want my boyfriend to smell of it, and I wouldn't mind smelling of it but don't care for it. Fragrances that ended up on the Love pile got here first, but the Lattafa stayed in the back of my mind. Later the alcohol evaporates and rests the oud with little amber/resin, at this point reminds me of Scentstory 24 gold, but not as sweet or dense, so much lighter and easier to tolerate/wear. In essence, Ameer al Oudh Intense Oud by Lattafa is perfect for those who seek a scent that combines the comforting embrace of warm notes with the intriguing depth of smoky oud, it's an olfactory odyssey that promises to be as epic as it is enchanting.

This is thankfully in my opinion not potentially cloying like it, but I find it even sweeter than Joop Homme, so know that if you tend to get nauseous or dizzy by overly sweet fragrances. I sprayed it on my hand and after about an hour, and washing my hands, the scent really smoothed out and a lot of the harsh incense smell went away and it took on a creamy smell. I would say it's more of a men's fragrance because of the woodiness, but it's very sweet, and considering the nature of this sort of oriental fragrances, it could very well be pulled off by a woman. till today, as i accidentally sprayed it on my neck once thinking its another perfume and rushed to grab a tissue and wipe it off, even put several other strong perfumes on top with around 9 sprays. I thought it would grow on me but on the contrary, everytime i go back to it i find myself enjoying it less. The scent's character shines in the crisp air, its smokey and woody notes creating an alluring trail, reminiscent of a mystical journey through time and space. Smelling it up close it feels unrefined and poorly put together, letting it make its way to you feels way better. The smoke and smell of cloves/spices disappears after a while and I'm left with a oud/leather smell with a touch of sweetness.

I think this perfume is really really great, and will wear it this coming summer, as often as I want to.Personally, I can tolerate more sweetness and florals and so I marginally prefer Lattafa Oud Mood and Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud and their better, woodier, darker performance to BTF, even though I usually can't stand anything like the rose note in Oud Mood. Black afgano, 24, by the fireplace,Oud satin mood and L’outr Oud from Lancôme are completely different from each other. The initial intrigue was like exploring the smell of nail varnish, once you have done it you don’t have a craving to smell it again or choose to smell like it. Maybe there is something I could layer with this to create the same warm caramel / toasty marshmallow feeling and make my gourmand loving heart (nose) happy? It shares commonalities with various perfume oils like Al-Rehab Sultan al Oud and Al Haramain Black Oudh (without weed smell), among others.

This is my sweetest scent however I do not enjoy candy juvenile scents, I don’t even like gourmands 9/10 times. Transitioning into the heart, the vanilla sweetens further, and takes on an additional faintly creamy tone, which is supported by the creamy sandalwood in the base. Sultan Al Arab - luxurious oriental perfume for women and men, created by the Arab brand of niche fragrances Khalis. Performance and longevity it is above average but it does not remind me of a fireplace or anything similar. If you had different expectations because you thought it's a dupe, that's nothing to do with the reality.Okay, so although I really like the fragrance it’s not something I could personally wear on a day to day I feel this Leans a little more masculine then I would usually be comfortable wearing as the oud is definitely very prominent.
