The venue, for Whitby Traction Engine Rally, is located next to Whitby Abbey, approximately 5 minutes walk from the centre of the popular tourist town of Whitby. Performing in the main arena will be the Adrenaline Tour featuring Jason Smyth. The display consists of motorcycle and quad street style stunts. It also features quad freestyle jumps over 70ft whilst catching items held 30ft in the air. Also performing in the main arena will be the popular Ridgeside Falconry and the Ridgeside Lurcher Racing Team. The event will also feature the Crazy Bears live on stage. These six bears will entertain the crowds at various times over the three days. The Spectacular Saturday Night Firework display will be one of the highlights over the weekend. A full programme of top steam fair attractions including: Tractor Pulling, Steam Engines, Classic Cars, Vintage Tractors, Classic Motorcycles, Fairground Organs, Miniature Steam Engines, Stationary Engines and Vintage Commercials. Welcome to Cromford Steam Rally The Cromford Steam Rally Society has been established since 1970, and is now one of the most highly rated shows in this part of the country. The rally is of interest and amusement for the whole family,whilst at the same time retaining the essence of the bugone spirit of our event. Our tractor section will give you a unique insight into life on the farm in days gone by. look at our rural crafts section and enjoy the demonstrations taking place over the weekend. We have traditional steamers, historical motor vehicles, stationary engines, a model maequee and miniature steam. Amble around the stalls, have a look at our old time fair rides, look through our sections of motorcycles, commercials vehicles, military displays and our wonderful old time organs. This annual steam rally involves a considerable amout of work throughout the year from both our council members and numerous volunteers. Although the cost of running the rally are enormous, there is usually a profit and this goes into a fund from which donations are made. Set in the heart of Norfolk this will be our 8th Annual Steam Rally. We have up to 15 full size traction engines plus tractors, commercials, stationary engines, classic & vintage cars, scale models, working demonstrations, trade stalls and this year a Model Railway. Each year a Beer Festival runs alongside our Rally. Since the 1960s the Astle Park Traction Engine Rally has been one of the leading outdoor shows in South Cheshire. Set in magnificent parkland and centrally located this iconic event attracts a large annual following. The spectacular Saturday night firework display is one of the highlights over the weekend. Performing in the main arena will be the Stannage International Stunt Show. This will feature the Flaming High Fall Show, Exploding Coffin, Motorbike Stunts, Car Jumps and Trick Riding to name a few. The event will also feature the Crazy Bears live on stage. These six bears will entertain the crowds at various times over the two days. The 2017 Cornish Steam & Country Fair is the 62nd annual event organised by WESES Ltd on behalf of the West of England Steam Engine Society. The show is very much a family event. As well as Steam Engines, Fun Fair, Vintage Vehicles, Model and Craft displays, there is everything to entertain all the family around the show. Our 2017 show promises to be the best yet as it aims to build on the previous few year’s events. From bouncy castles to vintage wood sawing, trade stands to heavy horse working demonstrations there is something for everyone. VINTAGE & STEAM SATURDAY 19 AUGUST TO SUNDAY 20 AUGUST 2017 10.30am – 5.00pm Take a step back in time and experience the nostalgic sights and sounds of an era when steam and world class engineering powered the country! Visitors to the Museum’s Vintage & Steam show will enjoy all the bustle and excitement of a traditional Steam Festival on 19 and 20 August, with full-size, miniature and model steam engines on display and working around our 40-acre site in the South Downs National Park. What’s on Alongside an extensive selection of full-size steam engines will be a wide range of exhibits including: commercial vehicles, military vehicles, miniature steam engines, narrow gauge railways, model boats, and classic cars. A favourite attraction at the event is the gallopers, powered by a Fowler Showman’s steam engine. The gallopers will be at the centre of a small traditional vintage fairground (small charges apply), which is a delight for adults and children alike. Visitors to the show can also ride on the narrow gauge steam railway (a small charge applies) and enjoy displays in the Events Field arena.
