Belvoir Castle Nr Grantham Lincs  NG32 1PE   28th 29th 30th  JULY 2017 THIS SHOW is planned to entertain the whole family Midland Rally & Events Club is planning the above event for the year of 2017 within the Belvoir Castle Estate on the Lakeside With the support of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland and Belvoir Castle staff and local community groups We are planning to DREDGE THE LAKE by STEAM PLOUGHING ENGINES as a Public Demonstration and Display something we feel has never been seen for many years. Vintage as Classic Tractors will be demonstrating there skills of ploughing We are planning the event to have Steam & Vintage Vehicles/ Displays/ Working Exhibits and a Large Vintage & Classic Car Show. The event will include a Dog Show with various categories. To enter your dog a fee will be £1.00 and the proceeds will go to a local Charity. ‍The Irish Steam Preservation Society host their Annual Steam Rally on the August Bank Holiday weekend. This weekend is packed with entertainment for adults and children. Prizes given over the weekend for Best in category.

A vintage show with an emphasis on working exhibits. Second and last public operation of the Historic Miniature steam railway. Running over all three days of the August BH , The event features miniature and full size traction engines steam lorries rollers, vintage and classic cars and tractors. Also craft and trade stalls licensed real ale bar and many other attractions. On site public camping field dogs welcome under control on trains.

Shrewsbury Steam Rally is a fantastic two day event that takes place at Onslow Park, Shrewsbury, over the August Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday. Each year it attracts thousands of people to marvel at the site of steam-powered vehicles of all kinds in action and on static display. If you’ve never experienced the sights, sounds and smells of steam engines in action then this is the place to be. 1st & 2nd January 2017 (10am – 5pm) One of Britain’s largest restored pumping stations in steam.  Lots of children’s activities. Twenty nine stationary steam engines. Four large beam engines two in operation. This magnificent site was built in 1885 to pump the brewery effluent of Burton-on-Trent to a Sewage Farm for treatment. In 1900 a large steam driven workshop and forge were built here by the local council and this still working workshop is something really special. It also has Britain’s oldest working electrical generator which also came here in 1900 to produce the new fangled electricity. There really is a steam engine round every corner and it’s a steam buffs Mecca. Haddenham Steam Rally is a traditional steam and country fair and has something for everyone. Whether you are an avid steam enthusiast or just looking for a day out with the family there is something for all to enjoy. There are over 600 exhibits from steam engines, Vintage Cars, stationary engines, vintage tractors and Lorries, to the old tyme fair, which for some years has included Rules steam driven Gallopers, one of the finest sets in the country and Ken Foxes world famous “Wall of Death”. We have been honoured over the years to have had some rare and famous exhibits visit us. These have included the Fowler SRL 15657 IRON MAIDEN as seen in the 1960’s film of the same name and the pair of Walsh & Clark Parafin engines, usually found at the museum of East Anglian Life to name but a few.  The rally also boasts over 75 trade stands, a craft tent, a large selection of catering stands, bygones tent and a beer tent. The extremely popular Heavy Horse show will celebrate its 30th anniversary on Sunday 10th September, 2017 with competitors coming from all over the country to compete.
