Description

Pictures from the left side will be from set 10188 (2008) and the right side from the set 75159 (2016). The wall cutting the trash compactor from the shaft is placed on a flat surface so that it can slide out. With over 4,000 pieces, this fantastic model has a galaxy of intricate and authentic environments, including a superlaser control room, Imperial conference chamber, hangar bay with moving launch rack and Lord Vader’s TIE Advanced with space for Vader inside, Emperor Palpatine’s throne room, Droid maintenance room, detention block, trash compactor, tractor beam, cargo area, turbo laser with spring-loaded shooters and seats for the 2 Death Star Gunners, and 2 movable turbo laser towers. The only set on this list not inspired by the Original Trilogy, 75331 The Razor Crest comes from The Mandalorian. It could be argued that it’s because of LEGO Star Wars that fans now have such big sets across other themes.

It’s fully articulated for maximum firepower, with a rotatable head and the legs jointed to match its on-screen counterpart.

There are also more "generic" minifigures like the Imperial Officer, Imperial Crew, Stormtrooper, Death Star Trooper, Imperial Navy Trooper, Imperial Astromech, Imperial Death Trooper, Interrogation Droid and the MSE-6-G715T.

While there was some attention to detail on the sides of the piece, it was very streamlined and lacked imagination. Seems like LEGO has created a little segment of sets (ISD, DS II, Falcon, DS I) that are expensive and cater to a smaller audience. On one of them is a large cone with transparent green parts at the top which prevents the door of the trash compactor from sliding out of the set. There's a lack of interactivity with this set, but the moveable weaponry and laser blasts are dynamic inclusions.

Introduced at the end of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones and a familiar sight throughout Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the Venator class cruisers were the precursor to the Imperial Star Destroyer. Contact Us LEGO, the LEGO logo, the Minifigure, and the Brick and Knob configurations are trademarks of the LEGO Group of Companies. The Second Death Star was finally destroyed by Wedge Antilles, who was piloting an X-Wing, and Lando Calrissian, who was piloting the Millennium Falcon, by flying into the space station and firing concussion missiles and proton torpedoes at the main reactor, which in turn led to its destruction. He got wavy hair instead of classic LEGO male hair, and his iconic jacket is much better shown on his torso part. After Princess Leia was forced to give them the location of the Rebel base so her homeworld would not be destroyed (to which she gave the wrong location) Grand Moff Tarkin still executed the command to destroy the planet of Alderaan, using the superlaser. When Rebel forces launched an assault on this Death Star, it was still incomplete; however, its superlaser was operational, and destroyed several Mon Calamari cruisers. The Imperial protocol droid has been given the updated RA-7 head mold first seen in the Jedi Scout Fighter set.
