This is followed by lead single Too Much which opens with some bouncing shabby synths as a beat kicks in and Matt Goss’ signature ‘ hurrugh’ vocal arrives.

The vocals are soft, tender, and richly layered, and then Matt throws out a hugely emphatic vocal ending on the song bringing the album to a close. The most immersive, emotive record of the Landreths’ career, Come Morning finds brothers Joey and Dave lacing their melody-driven songs with layers of atmospheric synth, organ, and textured guitar. Logan decided that the pressure of stardom was no longer for him and told Matt and Luke he was thinking of leaving the band. The song quickly evolves into a really catchy song, that sounds like it might have been a cover of some old disco-funk track.A UK tour was scheduled, with a second date at the O2 Arena and shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Newcastle upon Tyne, but all the dates except the two shows in London and the show in Manchester were later cancelled, with the band blaming "unforeseen logistical circumstances".

Lloyd Bradley of Q stated that the duo were attempting to break the US market by copying Michael Jackson's mix of pop and rock, complete with Jackson's vocal stylings, but "in trying for a level of aggression totally at odds with their long suit – punchy easily danceable pop – it sounds uncomfortably forced". Luke Goss and Matt Goss (born 29 September 1968 in Lewisham, London [3]) had settled in Camberley, Surrey, after their parents had split up and their mother had found a new boyfriend, who bought Luke an electronic drum kit and Matt a saxophone, noticing their interest in music. Craig Logan wished the Goss brothers success with the concerts, but confirmed he was not interested in taking part in the reunion. In NME, Simon Williams stated that "the most astonishing fact is that the boys have social consciences" and that "the messages are delivered in a trite manner, but their earnestness can't be denied".Although he was unimpressed with either their look or their music, Watkins realised that he could shape the group into a boy band for the teen girl market, with Graham and Watkins writing the songs for them. It was released on 16 October 1989 and was their first album as a duo of twins Matt and Luke Goss, following the departure of bassist Craig Logan earlier in the year.

Landreth welcome a new day with Come Morning, an album that marks both a rebirth and refinement of the JUNO-winning band’s blend of North American roots music and harmony-heavy soul. Bros continued as a duo, with Matt Goss and Luke Goss continuing with the sold-out world tour titled 'The Global Push', where the band played to fans in Australia, Japan, mainland Europe and the UK.

A documentary film of the brothers' reunion and the rehearsals and lead-up to the first concert at the O2 Arena, titled Bros: After the Screaming Stops, was shown on 18 October 2018 as part of the BFI London Film Festival and given a limited cinema release on 9 November 2018, with a DVD and digital release on 12 November. Years of near-constant touring in support of its release left the brothers exhausted, however, and the band took a three-year break before regrouping for 2019’s ’87. In 1991 Bros released their third and final album, Changing Faces, before the band split up in 1992. Bros exploded on to the charts in 1987 with their “When Will I Be Famous” single that peaked at number 2.

Logan left the band in early 1989, due to several bouts of illness, including chronic fatigue syndrome, [21] and the fact he could no longer walk and was being assisted on and off stage. The energy found in their debut Push (from the previous year) is absent at times, but the album still makes for a decent companion. Over the last four decades, Béla Fleck has made a point of boldly going where no banjo player has gone before, a musical journey that has earned him 16 Grammys in nine different fields, including Country, Pop, Jazz, Instrumental, Classical and World. In a retrospective review, William Ruhlmann of AllMusic noted that Bros were coming to the end of their popularity, and that their music had not travelled well across the Atlantic, saying, "As with most teenage heartthrobs, the music wasn't the point; all of these songs are heavily produced, glossy dance tracks in which Matt Goss's enthusiastic but thin vocals are the least noticeable aspect.Chocolate Box follows and again it’s a nice upbeat track, and I can imagine Michael Jackson singing this one, as it includes those vocal signatures that were throughout his songs, and similar to Bros. His conclusion about the album was that "it's difficult to see its appeal: while remaining distinctly juvenile, by losing its predecessor's essential innocence, it's a little too, er, challenging for [the US's] established market". Bros's first video album, Push Live Tour, was released mid-1988 on VHS, and LaserDisc in Japan; it was recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo. Landreth with 2013’s Let It Lie, a debut album that drew upon the shared soundtrack of their childhood – Bonnie Raitt’s blues, Little Feat’s funky country-rock, Ry Cooder’s eclectic instrumentals, Lyle Lovett’s twangy traditionalism – for a sound that saluted the past while planting its flag firmly in the present. Recorded at Sarm West Studios London, Hot Nights London, Studio Miraval France, ICP Studios Belgium and Chateau Du Pape Germany.
