Sipsmith Vintage Sloe Gin, see's Dartmoor sloes rested upon their classic London Dry Gin for a 3 month maceration period. Florals and smoke - so poignant in that lovely whisky, like TS Eliot’s footfalls and echoes and dead leaves in Burnt Norton.

We are a modern brewery and pub company, producing flavourful beer in the leafy suburbs of Esher in Surrey. Using 12 natural botanicals sources from all corners of the globe, we have kept tradition alive with a zingy citrus body complimented by a delicately floral aroma and a hint of spice.

Some distilleries may use rhubarb in the distillation process itself, whilst others might prefer to infuse it post-distillation. This dynamic pairing results in a vibrant, tangy, and often sweet gin that’s won over many enthusiasts across the UK and beyond.

Martin Miller's Westbourne Strength is distilled with obsessive attention to detail, using only traditional botanicals. It not only serves as a nostalgic nod to the cherished use of rhubarb in British cuisine but also highlights the adventurous spirit of the UK’s gin producers, continuously seeking to intrigue and delight palates with innovative flavour combinations. It was only a matter of time until it infiltrated the gin world, given the British penchant for experimentation with botanicals and flavours in gin production.

Creating rhubarb gin involves infusing gin with rhubarb, often along with other ingredients such as vanilla or berries, to balance the tartness and sugar to add sweetness. Made with Juniper sustainably hand-picked from Box Hill: The citrus notes come from Moroccan lime, coriander, Spanish sweet orange peel and Italian orris root.
