The display resolution of 480 x 272 pixels ensures that users can view text and graphics with clarity. This phone offers a comprehensive and user-friendly interface, making it simple to navigate and use its various functions. Once the phone has been connected to a wireless network successfully, the network profile will be saved in the Known Network(s) list. The list can hold up to five profiles. If you want to add a new profile when the list is full you need to delete the oldest profile first. If you want to disconnect from any Wi-Fi network simply follow the same steps to select it and press the Disconnect soft key. You will generally find these options under theWireless or WPS tab or section of the web interface, but this may vary by brand or model. The router's web interface will prompt you with a success message once the connection is established. Once Wi-Fi is activated two new options will appear and you should note the distinction between them: Yealink SIP-T46U is part of the Yealink T4U Series of IP Phones with unified firmware across all models. Having unified firmware simplifies deployment, management, and updates, keeping your phone fleet secure and up-to-date. T46U is a SIP phone with support for 16 SIP accounts. It is broadly interoperable with standards-based VoIP phone systems and services. T46U has dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and supports POE (Power Over Ethernet).Use the WLAN (Wi-Fi) settings obtained from your wireless router to configure the new network profile on the phone. The Wi-Fi function of the Yealink T46U allows you to enjoy SIP connectivity without network cables. This reduces clutter, lets you easily move the phone around, or serves when a network port is unavailable or in offices with a Wi-Fi only network. The screen prompts “Please input below PIN code on your Wi-Fi router and press OK to connect: xxx” (xxx represents the PIN code you have to enter.) If you are using the 802.1x EAP mode, select the desired EAP methodand enter the relevant values in the corresponding fields. With the T4 series, Yealink really starts ramping up the number of features on offer, starting with the SIP-T40P model. This handset comes with industry-standard encryption protocols, support for three SIP accounts, and a number of programmable keys. It also comes with a foot-stand, flashing LED to indicate incoming voice messages or calls, adjustable volume, and four navigational keys.

If the SSID broadcast option of your wireless router is disabled, the router's Wi-Fi network might not appear in the phone's scanning results. Known Network(s) is a list of up to five networks the phone has already connected with that you can switch between or manage.The SIP-T46U comes with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one of which is suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE). Accompanied by two USB ports, the T46U is your right-hand man in the office that makes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB headset and USB recording possible, and you can use any two of them freely according to your needs to enrich phone features. The connected wireless network will be saved to the Known Network(s). The list can store up to 5 wireless networks, each with its own customizable connection priority(see Managing Networks below.)
