Champagne roses are usually made with a small addition of red wine (made from pinot noir) being added to the blend. Although often served as an aperitif, rosé champagne is a particularly versatile wine, pairing well with a wide range of dishes. Rooted in French history and created using the méthode champenoise, it is a traditional blend of three grape varieties: Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
