This fragrance takes time to get used to and that harsh lemon cleanser opening is the main reason why. It still has lemon but it mixes well with the pineapple and I find it almost better than Aventus because it has more presence and punch. Honestly it smells too citrusy(mainly lemon) to me, and not just in the beginning but throughout the fragrance. I have Aventus as well as the Parfum version of CDNIM and the EDT and I've received more compliments with the CDNIM EDT than anything else I own.

Double blind bought it, never smelled this nor Creed Aventus before (still kinda new to the perfume game) and wow am I blown away. After running out of my bottle of Bleu de Chanel that was once gifted to me, I needed a new fragrance. Quickly dries down to a near-Aventus smell (but without any of the subtle fruity, sweet in Aventus). Blind bought this out of hype for it being a Creed Aventus clone, although I've only smelt Creed Aventus once, I can see the similarities when it starts drying down.I personally love the smell of Aventus, so much that I would just wear it around the house sometimes.

I sprayed it like 10 times and now opened the cap and let it mascerate for a week in my closet in the box. Just skip it and refrain from the elitist whining about others whose sensibilities differ from yours. As the fragrance lingers, the base notes of ambergris, musk, vanilla, and patchouli emerge, leaving a lasting impression of warmth, depth, and timeless allure. So if you prefer a sweeter version, just hit it with a touch (10-15%) of Demeter Pineapple - it really does get it "there. I own an early 2022 Aventus and the only *clear* differences between my version and this is the Aventus has a stronger birch opening whereas this is fruitier with a tiny more chemical hit.

The atomizer is not that good, and you'll need to spray a little more for better performance, but performance is good.Finally, this intoxicating blend of ambergris, musk, vanilla and patchouli will leave a lasting impression that will have you coming back for more. Well considering the fact that the opening is harsh and synthetic but taking others factors into consideration, "THIS IS A GREAT PERFUME", I used Mont Blanc explorer as well but when I came through this stuff, I was blown away.
