Hive Mind: Overlord Liusolra of the Endless Swarm is actually comprised of thousands of tiny spiders that combine together to make a gigantic half-human half-spider monster. Establishing Series Moment: The Prologue, in which our hero Himmel gets lost in the Green Zone dungeon. He discovers a lone chest in the dungeon, goes to open it up and gets eaten by a mimic, and this occurs in the last two sentences of the Prologue. The perspective then shifts to the mimic in Chapter 1. Grammar? I find all of this authors stories have perfect grammar, sure, the odd missing letter or "is" swapped with "si", but that's normally fixed fast as exterm reads the comments and perfect's his work.

Took A Level In Bad Ass: Is a Ranked Up individual, giving him greater speed, strength, stamina, and longevity than regular mooks. Half-Human Hybrid: Eventually revealed to have had a raptor father and human mother, which directly contributed to her odd nature and golden eyes. Transforms into a harpy- griffin hybrid, thanks to a slightly expired serum Boxxy stole from the Foundation. Monster Adventurers: The whole premise of the story is the adventures of a Mimic and its group of assorted monstrosities.Famed In-Story: After she kills the Hero of The Hammer and the world discovers she is the Hero of Chaos Keira becomes one of the most famous people in the Ishgar Republic. Pun-Based Title: The pun actually inspired the series. The "chest" is a treasure chest, or at least something that appeared to be a treasure chest, i.e. a mimic.

Archer Archetype: One of the best archers in the Republic, capable of downing an entire squad of gryphons by himself. Genki Girl: Keira is known for being a happy, innocent and sweet girl who is full of energy and loves running around. And vaulting over soldiers. And sliding down vines. an interesting consept yes and if nothing else i would advise you read the first ten or so chapters, up untell the destruction of that one town, the first one what ever it is/was called, up to that point we have a creature that is barely above average intellegence for a mimic, which is to say none. And so you get the interesting adventures of a monster in a lit-rpgish world that ironicaly fails to do in naritive what it does so well conseptually, subvert expectations:Insatiable Newlyweds: Although not legally married, the elf-catgirl couple indulge in promiscuous activity extremely often. Technical Virgin: Boxxy encounters a nun of the goddess of truth shown as having enthusiastic anal sex with a man she sort-of introduced as her cousin. The narrator explains that many nuns take vows of chastity and use this as a Loophole Abuse to still have sex. Given that they don't get a special debuff from breaking their vows to their gods, the gods accept this. This particular nun and her "cousin" end up paying for that with their lives when Boxxy sneaks up on them (they are facing the same direction, after all) and uses its assassination skill to kill them both. Dull Eyesof Unhappiness: Has them after being rescued from the clutches of an underworld organization. Bigger on the Inside: There are certain buildings and item containers that are like this thanks to the miracle of magic. Heel–Face Turn: After the war, she realizes what she has done and begins to repent for both her and her mortal followers' sins.

Medieval Stasis: The fantasy world hasn't left the era of swords & sorcery after tens of thousands of years. Gnomes have just started introducing higher technology to the setting through the Arclight Artificer Job, and that is noted to have come about 121 years ago at the time the story is progressing. The Gods Must Be Lazy: By far the most hands-off god of the pantheon, as demonstrated by how few followers she has - and indeed, how few people even know of her existence. Then again, by his own admission it wouldn't really be "chaos" if he were making it happen. Expy: Unreasonably spiky blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, Fashionable Asymmetry... sounds familiar somehow. The fiend wants to "crush [her] enemies. See them driven before [her]. And to hear the lamentations of their women." Violence is the Only Option: Almost all conflicts in the story are resolved through a vigorous application of lethal force. For monsters and demons, it's the instinctive and preferred response, respectively.
