About this deal

But, if you need a 35mm prime to fit to mFT body, there are plenty of options, also with AF. Oly FT-version 35mm macro (needs an adapter), plenty of EF-mount versions (also need an adapter), 50mm lenses with speedboosters, 35mm manual lenses, some native mFT, some others... Some very fast options. I don't recall seeing any information comapring the M43 electronic interface to the electron interface for the C-L alliance. The interfaces may not be that different. The bespoke conversion is based on the Micro 4/3 versions of the Sirui 50mm and 35mm. Each lens retains its compact dimensions, allowing for easy handheld or gimbal operation. The conversion requires mechanical modification of the lens to allow fitting of the new mount and needs to be performed by MTF Services. The lenses will be available pre-converted via authorised MTF Services dealers. There are now smaller and lighter full frame options now for both camera bodies and lenses, so you can build a kit where the size and weight difference with m4/3 is not as great as it was. I also learnt from using the various m4/3 bodies that for me, a larger body has better ergonomics, which is pretty important to me.

The Sigma 20mm F2 DG DN | C joins a growing range of fairly fast primes for Sony E-mount and Leica L-mount cameras in Sigma’s I-series range, which includes the 35mm F2 DG DN | Cand 65mm F2 DG DN | C. There are also 24mm F2 and 45mm F2.8 options in the line-up. The look and feel are virtually identical in each case, with the same ‘Contemporary’ design ethos seeking to deliver excellent performance from a compact and lightweight build. I have a 400/2.8L myself, I must ask Commlite if they can send me an adapter so that I can confirm that it works on my lens. I would be most happy if my 20+ EF mount lenses could give me good S-AF on every of them on an L-Mount camera body. The M-adaptor-L is pricey, but it bring 6-bit coding to the camera directly, so M-mount lens profile can be loaded directly on the file. So obviously it is useable the crop factor does not stop you taking images that use the centre of the image in reality its a low MP m4/3 crop, similar to using a DX lens on a FF body, you get a similar result.

Addition of the brand new L-mount wide-angle lens from Panasonic, the Panasonic Lumix 14-28mm f/4-5.6 MACRO with 0,5x magnification (macro). This lens was announced at the same time at the brand new Panasonic Lumix S5 II Mirrorless Camera and the Panasonic Lumix S5 IIX Mirrorless Camera Yeah, leading up to confirmation of L-mount there was a discussion on this. Basically if Panasonic cared, there would be things they could perhaps do. This Lens Mount Adapter, is made with high standard precision. Its all metal design and polished surface is designed to guarantee smooth mounting and long lasting experiences. It allows Pentax K/PK Lenses to fit on a Sony Alpha NEX E-Mount system camera body. Ultra-fast focusing speed, AF auto focus, providing fast and accurate detection of the focus direction and target;

That sounds even more impossible. Are you sure you are not mixing up something here. For example, old FT lenses can be adapted to L mount since they have have a much bigger flange distance than L. No. The flange distance of L mount is 20 mm and that of MFT is 19.25 mm. That leaves just 0.75 mm for the adapter, which is in all likelihood too little for a reasonably sturdy adapter to be made. AFAIK, none exists and I think it unlikely that anyone will try to make one.

MTF Services L-mount converted Sirui 1.33x anamorphic lenses unveiled

Available from today, the bespoke converted lenses are based on the Micro 4/3 versions of the Sirui 50mm f1.8 and 35mm f1.8. Each lens retains its compact dimensions, allowing for easy handheld or gimbal operation. The conversion needs to be performed by MTF Services and requires precise mechanical modification of the lens to allow fitting of the new mount. The lenses are available pre-converted via authorised MTF Services dealers. Like the RF conversion, when shooting full-frame there's an approximate 1.35x crop with vignetting. People have confirmed the MFT flange distance as 19.25 by measuring the distance between the flange surface and the focal plane mark with a caliper. I wonder if anyone has confirmed for the L-mount (problem is looking at pictures it's unclear if the SL even has such a mark)?
