Fit:When it comes to the fit of the FINIS Edge fins, it’s, unfortunately, a bit of a hit-and-miss situation. You’ll either love the fit or despise it.

These are a good pair of fins for swimmers of all levels. The small sizes that are available also make them perfect for kids. Blade and heel design:Still featuring a short-blade design, the Edge fins have a slightly longer blade when compared to the Arena Powerfin Pro swim fins.Material:Like their counterpart fins, the Zoomer Gold swimming fins, the Z2s have a 100% natural rubber design. Some swimmers may also find that Speedo’s Switchblades are a bit heavy. New fins may be a bit stiff until they’re broken in and the rubber has a chance to soften. These fins are unisex but are sized to men’s shoe sizes. They range in sizes from 4.5 up to 13 (in the US size chart). TYR Stryker Silicone Fins: For a closed heel with a short blade, the TYR Stryker Finsfit the bill. They’re on the lighter side which may appeal to more swimmers, especially younger ones or those looking to develop their stroke. Another similar option to these are Arena’s Power Fins, which may run a bit cheaper than the TYR version. The original Cobra goggles are suitable for those faithful to the classic arena Cobra design or that was to join the Cobra line at an appealing price. They feature hard lenses, interchangeable nose bridges and a dual strap making them fit any swimmer perfectly. Also available is the Cobra Mirror.

Unfortunately, some swimmers won’t like this tight fit. This is particularly the case for swimmers with a wider or long-arched foot as it creates sizing problems. However, it’s also not the longest, nor does it necessarily fall in the middle. Sporti and FINIS long-blade swim fins are by far the longest swim fins available. Whereas Speedo Switchbladeand TYR Strykerfall more along the middle range in blade size. However, once I became accustomed to them, I found that I liked having the ankle strap with the open heel vs the closed heel design. The straps make the fins easier to put on and they’re 90% less likely to slip off than the closed-heel fins. And for good reason, too– their simple yet highly effective design makes them a popular option among swimmers. FINIS has several pairs of fins that make this list. One of them is their Edge Fins, which are designed to give your legs a workout. All while helping you improve your technique.Arena have a range of products and accessories but do you know the difference between them? This blog features some of the more popular accessories, how to use them and what the difference actually is. Swim fins such as FINS and Sporti Long Blades, FINIS Z2 Zoomers, and Speedo Switchblades have thinner material. They’re also made from rubber and can tear/rip easier. Featuring a classical design, the Sporti Training fins are a nice pair of swim fins and a great budget option for swimmers who want to save money. Due to the short blades, these fins are better suited for intermediate-level swimmers rather than beginners. The shorter blade will require more effort when swimming.

It depends on what type of swimmer you are. We only recommend long fins for young, beginner, and recreational swimmers. This can help you to more frequently focus on aspects of your race that need extra attention, like hand entry, head position, or turns.
