Bring the water, sugar and rosemary to simmer in a pan until all of the sugar has dissolved, the allow to cool and remove the rosemary (keep in the fridge, it should last for a week) Make the vanilla bean syrup by adding all the ingredients in the above right list into a saucepan and bring to a boil, turn down the heat and let the figs breakdown for approx 5 mins, then let it cool and use a fine mesh to strain the liquid. To make the drink, simply add the syrup, the infused gin and the grapefruit juice into a glass filled with ice, stir and enjoy. Crush the peppercorns in a mixing bowl/large glass, then add strawberries and muddle them (crush/mash), then add all the other ingredients (excluding the Prosecco) and give it another good mix/muddle.

In your glass (tall glasses work best) add the sugar and squeeze of lime wedge, mix together until the sugar has dissolved There are a number of fantastic apple flavoured gins currently on the market, two of ILoveGin’s favourites including: There’s a whole host of different flavoured gins out there – infusing berries, rhubarb and raspberry, apple and more. With all Gin Gifts from I Love Gin, we want the passion for our Gin and Tonics to really shine through – hence we have carefully curated some of the world’s finest and most interesting gins with a tasting brochure and Youtube videos to tell you more about the flavours.Gin and Tonics are often said to be the most refreshing drink to have, though often drank throughout the year we do enjoy them a little more when in the sun or in warmer climates. This take on a classic is the Melon Gin and Tonic, is relatively fast and easy to do, you just need to make sure you have a Honeydew melon at the ready. London dry gin has that classic gin palate that we all know and love. It is rich, earthy, and bitter, often with touches of citrus, spice and floral tones. It is complex, to say the least. The gin is comprised of a delicate balance of russet apple, juniper and sage, all helping to deliver a crisp, not overly sweet, apple freshness. ILoveGin detail the gin’s perfect serve as follows: What does Modern Love Vodka taste like? Modern Love Vodka has a nose brimming with clean citrus, spice and herb tones, all atop a deliciously earthy grain base. On the palate, you can find a creamy texture and hints of vanilla, cocoa and lemon, which all last long into the aromatic finish, where hints of pear and mint can be found. In contrast, One Sage & AppleGin holds more of a wood and orange flavour to it, amongst other interesting notes, detailed as “An overall aromatic nose of fresh and candied apple, freshly cut wood and juniper, with hints of gooseberry and orange marmalade. Leads to a palate of fresh apple, orange peel and soft juniper, mixed spice and Turkish delight.”

Put the gin, lemon juice and apple juice into a shaker with some ice and give it a good shake to make sure it’s fully cooled the drink down Every month we send you two miniature gins & two tonics/mixers for you to mix & taste at home! Enough to make 4 delicious Gin & Tonics, plus a recipe booklet with the perfect serves and garnishes, and info on the featured drinks. Top up with tonic water, we recommend at first trying with approx 50ml of tonic to every 25ml of gin When we came across this gin punch recipe we fell in love, not only does Sylvia take beautiful photos on her blog but her recipes are a delight to make. So if you’re throwing a party or event of sort and want to make a delicious and stunning looking punch then look no further. Fresh fruit and freshly squeezed fruit juice are also great places to start with London dry gin mixers. Therefore, flavoured gins are not classed as traditional gins. However, the production process and alcohol content is similar in both – the one integral differentiator being that flavoured gin pushes the boundaries of the typical tastes found in gin, and offering up unique combinations and innovative new concoctions – such as apple gin! A Gold-winner at the World Vodka Awards 2021, this marvellous tipple has an ultra-smooth, sumptuously soft mouthfeel and is brilliantly clean and crystal clear. With its delectably complex flavour profile, it’s a must-try for any vodka aficionado out there.

Apple gin can commonly refer to a type of apple-flavoured gin. Distillers create this apple taste by infusing gin with the fruit. This infusion can also include other, additional complimentary flavours; for example, Elemental Cornish Apple Gin is infused with apples as well as a hint of elderflower, helping to balance the tart of the apple with the sweetness from the elderflower. For example, a pint of cider can amount to 216 calories, while a 175ml glass of wine can come to 159. With summer drawing near and the flavoured gin market booming, now is the perfect time to find some new fruity and refreshing gins for the summer.Another one of our favourite apple gins at the moment, Elemental Cornish Apple Gin is infused with apples as well as elderflower. The gin pairs nicely with an elderflower tonic, or with apple juice – creating the perfect Gin Appletini. Pour the drink into a glass and top up with soda water, garnish with a slice of lime, sprig of mint, a few fresh pomegranate seeds and a few ice cubes. We offer gins from all over the world and ones that you won’t find in stores – with flavours including apple, elderflower, pear, lemon, classic, old tom, navy strength, and more!
