Verdict For instance, the length of the journey in Career mode is unrivaled. The game contains 20 real courses, so there is plenty of golf action here.

Unlike fittings, this new feature doesn't feel aligned to gradually making your golfer better--it's just one of the annoyances that plagues modern sports games with online communities. It's still too early to say if these consumables will contribute to a pay-to-win model, but they feel at odds with PGA Tour 2K23's dedication to realism. After all, your golf ball attributes should be connected to the brand and model of ball.

They focus more on the FedEx Cup in Career Mode because they don’t have the licensing for the US Open or the Masters. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of golf games, although I enjoy watching the sport in my spare time. There just aren’t enough great options.

Our customizable course conditions allow you to play in the ambient confines of a sunshine-drenched course or battle the elements on a rain-soaked green. To amplify the realism, each condition will change the gameplay to match the challenges of a real-life course. The addition of playable pros is particularly great for casual rounds of golf. Sometimes you don't want to play as a created golfer; you'd rather step into the shoes of Tiger Woods and swing the club just like him. It's nice to see swings that look ripped from real life from these pros, too. Try again at an 'off-peak' time. This may be due to too many people trying to play at once, and thus overloading the servers with traffic. You may find that trying to play at a time when there are fewer people trying to play will help.
