And here is another version to welcome the sunshine and warm weather. I had so much fun doing the lettering and the cute doodles!
Focus on the big shapes first. For example, in step 1 all we are doing is drawing 2 egg-shaped objects. Donāt think of them as āheadā or ābodyā. Just focus on drawing 2 eggs. Trust me, it will work! Letās draw a cute POPSICLE! I used watercolor wash to create this cutie. I really love how the colors mix and run on wet paper and ādo their own thingā. š No two popsicles come out the same! Kawaii drawing is easy. If youāve ever tried to draw a kitty or a pony, kawaii drawing will be as simple as childās play. There is no definite appearance or features for kawaii things. It changes based on the person who views something as kawaii. However, general features and characteristics are associated with cute things, such as faces with big round eyes, small noses, and small bodies with large heads. Who doesnāt love a friendly pup? This drawing of a friendly dog is perfect for all skill sets. Plus, it wonāt take long to create, but it looks incredible when youāre done. 13. Even though kawaii characters all follow very similar features, their visual structure can vary a lot since there are tons of other kawaii characters that arenāt based on real animals but more on abstract concepts like rainbows or stars so on.Iāve concluded that the most important skills to practice areāpen skillsā. If I can master the foundational skills of drawing straight lines and (almost) perfect circles, I could then focus on memorising many kinds of faces etc. But I wouldnāt be stressed about my lines looking shaky and uneven. To help remember the steps, Tim suggests an acronym DiSSS (ignore the āiā): Deconstruct, Select, Sequence, Stakes.
As you can see, itās a large and unfocused list. All over the place! But thatās ok, next step is selecting the skills that matter.
