this mini-series is proof that sometimes authors have brain farts and its not always a good idea to publish every story well-established authors write. Hoover& Fisher do an excellent job of creating a sense of mystery and intrigue throughout the novel. The plot is well-paced, with each chapter revealing just enough information to keep the reader hooked without giving away too much too soon. Colleen Hoover. Tarryn Fisher. Two authors I love. Two distinctly different writing styles. Somehow, these two authors were able to collaborate and blend their styles together and Never Never was born. It’s one of those books that you finish and think... what the hell did I just read? Which didn’t surprise me. That’s happened with every Tarryn book I’ve read.

I'm really interested in what will happen next! The things we found out in the first book left me with my mouth hanging open! What's up with that Brian and Avril?! Ughhh, I want to slap Silas and Charlie, I want to know why they did those horrible things! I also want to know what's causing their memory loss! The ending left us with a big cliffhanger and I almost cried! I don't know why! I think it's because I was able to put myself in the place of the main characters and I felt what Silas was feeling in that moment with the letters, I was so confused and worried and with a hole in my heart!Notably, Silas finds a letter and begins to get some clues as to how the two should move forward in a world where everyone surrounding them knows them, yet he and Charlie don’t recognize a single soul or, more concerning, themselves.

Never Never is a three-part series she co-authored with Tarryn Fisher and published in three separate parts in 2015 and 2016. It was re-released as one book with three parts in 2023. Because of these unique characteristics, you may have questions about Never Never. This post will answer them!the story doesnt feel like it was written by either author and then im just confused. lol. with this story, im finding myself in the last scenario. im confused, i have no idea what either author was thinking when they wrote this or why they both approved of it (especially part three), but wow. this is pretty meh. not great, n As I said, I like Tarryn Fisher, but I'm more ambivalent about Colleen Hoover. I like some of her darker books like TOO LATE and IT ENDS WITH US, but a lot of the other ones of hers I've read have really made me angry. I didn't see how two such very different authors could mesh together, but Tarryn lightened up her style and Hoover darkened it. I actually thought Hoover was Fisher, because Silas's POV was my favorite and I assumed that was because it was written by my favorite author of the two, but no. Maybe they were trying to imitate each other's styles? Anyway, they did manage to blend, so kudos to them, because I totally wasn't expecting that to happen. After spending the day together, Charlie figures out that she isn't the only one faking it. It is clear that Silas has absolutely no idea of who she is either. Things go from strange to outright bizarre! Of note, most of this article was written by my friend and freelance writer, a spicy romance reader, and edited by me. Both of us are big Colleen Hoover fans!) If you thought that the first book was unbelievable, Part Two takes it to another level. The "amnesia" that these two seem to be experiencing keeps getting stranger and stranger. I won't spoil it for you, but I will say that the "amnesia" storyline was unrealistic enough in the first place. It didn't need to be made more so.

Silas was your typical New Adult male MC. You know, the kind all the girls will be dropping their panties for all over the interwebs. Kinda like this guy . . . I can't wait for the third one. I'm ready on whatever surprise Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher will write and this is whole idea is crazy genius. I just love these two authors! My favorite of this novella is of course, Silas's POV. I love him. I love every moment I'm in his head like seriously, the humor and the sexiness combined into one. *swoons The Never Never series by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher has an age rating of 14+. More Colleen Hoover Book Lists: There's more of Silas' perspective than Charlie's, and I think I need more of Charlie's side. A part of me doesn't trust ANY of the side characters because I feel there's something weird is going to happen. I don't know why I get that feeling. I only trust Silas and Charlie to fix whatever suspenseful, rivalry between their fathers and their own issues.First of all, it should have been announced that this would be a serial novel and not series or standalone. The Never Never series would appeal to fans of young adult romance, romantic suspense, and young adult fantasy and paranormal romance. My first impression of this novel broken in three was of amazement. Charlize or rather Charlie and Silas have no idea who they or their families are, nor do they have a clue what happened to them to cause this. Through a series of events, they both realize they're in the same boat and try to figure out what the hell is going on and why they're in this situation. Attempting to both solve the mystery of their memory loss and keep anyone from realizing it's occurred would be daunting enough, but they also must navigate the social travails of high school, family life, and the fact that there's bad blood between Silas and Charlie's fathers. I haven’t liked a CoHo read since Hopeless. I was starting to think I woke up in la la land and everyone was invaded by body snatchers because I just didn’t get it.

For most of this book, Charlie and Silas are separated. She has been imprisoned and must try and figure out exactly who is holding her captive and why. Meanwhile, Silas falls under scrutiny when Charlie does not turn up. He was the last person seen with her and the number one suspect in her disappearance. It doesn't take them long to find out, that both had their horrible secrets. Learning more and more about themselves, they begin to question whether they would even like to become the person they've been again. And the even bigger question: what did they see in each other? Despite all this, their time together wakes up feelings inside them both.Never Never was a short book, and once I start reading I couldn’t put it down. The end left me with more questions than I had in the beginning and the second book can’t come soon enough! I’m glad I read it, but the waiting is going to be brutal. I know I’ll have to do a re-read before the next book is out! I'm going to leave this review short and sweet. It's one of those stories you just hate to read yourself! Question everything....or just go with the flow. Either way, you're not gonna be able to figure this puppy out. I actually had some ideas but the ending threw all those out the window.
