The book that all SHATTER ME fans have been waiting for is finally here. The finale of Tahereh Mafi's New York Times bestselling YA fantasy series perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Victoria Aveyard's The Red Queen, Stranger Things and Leigh Bardugo's Six of Crows Juliette Ferrars. Dangerous, sexy, romantic, and intense. I dare you to stop reading." – Kami Garcia, #1 New York Times bestselling co-author of the Beautiful Creatures series

I’m sorry to say it but I can’t give this more than 2,5 stars rounded up to 3. (I really wish we’d have half-stars here because 2,5 would be way more accurate than 3.) 2,5 stars because otherwise it would feel like I’d let Tahereh get away with this disaster of a book and someone has to speak the truth. As a huge fan of this series my heart is bleeding but I stand by my opinion! #SorryNotSorry I feel like we also got some Warner character growth in here, which was great to see. It's so cool seeing him finally making more connections with people 🥰🥰 If you didn’t read my Defy Me blog post, this won’t be as funny, and you should read that blog post, which I’ll link below! But if you did, then you can laugh with me 😂. This was such a cute novella to end off the series!! 😍😍💗💗 I enjoyed the last book, Imagine Me, enough but it did feel a bit unfinished so I'm really glad we had this to properly say goodbye to the series 🥰🥰

most of all, these characters just don't feel the same to me anymore. not juliette, not warner, not kenji. it was like all the character development from the previous books was just gone out the window. the writing style felt like the first book again, like it felt like slam poetry. but i didn't care that much when i was reading the first book, because i loved the plot and the characters. So I really thought that like everyone, Anderson was tired of fighting and he wanted all of this to be over. Because it really was creepy beyond words that he allowed Juliette in his bed after he told her to get off his finger. Juliette was supposed to stand outside his door, but then a hologram of Valentina Castillo (a Supreme Kid) guided her to this doorway where the real Supreme kids were in tubes. It gave me Maze Runner vibes with that scene with people in the tubes. I really don’t know why they kept the Supreme kids in tubes. What did they ever do to deserve that? Why did they need them in tubes? It was also mentioned that Adam and James were captured, which I don’t remember happening in Defy Me. So there was also that.

Believe Me is basically about Warner and Juliette/Ella trying to get married- but encountering unexpected challenges. Will they have their happy ending? Me, like every other people in the bookish community and their grandma, was so hyped for the wedding. It was the supposed highlight of the story, and I only want Warner and Juliette to be finally happy after all the (ridiculous) shit they've been through in books 5 and 6. I shouldn't have gotten my hopes high. I also still hate Juliette, don't even have a reason for it. She just causes Warner to have a lot of doubts.i’ve been putting this book off for so long because i didn’t want to be “officially done” with the shatter me series.. but the time has come and i made myself (or rather madi) read this beautiful book. it was everything i hoped it to be, and more. Mum looks up, nods at someone behind me. I turn around just in time to spot Paris, Mr. Anderson, waiting with my suitcase. There’s no kindness in his eyes. No warmth at all. He turns away from me, looks at Mum. He doesn’t say hello. I’m not gonna lie: I’m kinda scared about what will happen in this one, but as long as I’m reading “Imagine Me” with you I shall be fine! ;-) Es de personas mal agradecidas obtener más de lo que mereces y darte lo que tu corazón tanto anhela, y no disfrutarlo o ser agradecida. Porque eso fue lo que fue este libro, un gran regalo de la autora a nosotros. And do I have a type who likes murdering people and calls you 'LOVE' ? Umm..!? If he's AARON ANDERSON WARNER then hell yeah! Haha I love him sm!
