The visuals; this film is shot very well. The scenes at Mars are breathtaking as well as kind of scary too because of what Mark Watney is going through. The jokes are well written and it helps to keep you enlightened. But then there are times where things go down and its very intense and heartfelt, this film manages to balance both tones very well.
