There is probably no other designer fragrance that has aroused such controversial feelings among perfume lovers in recent years as Yves Saint Laurent's "La nuit de l'homme". Some love it and swear by its seductive magic to make the hearts of womankind beat faster. Others long for the glorious batches of the early years and curse YSL for the numerous reformulations that have made LNDL so you don't really know whether you've sprayed yourself with water or perfume. And yet others are tired of being bombarded with a new flanker from the house of YSL every year. These were all, for my taste really good alternatives to the fragrance, but those like me who own the old, unadulterated original know that it nevertheless always remained the king,- and unbeaten the best version of itself! Now I have to write something about this too. I have the impression that there are really many people here who have no idea about fragrances. Sorry that I have to say that. But it is so. I even have the impression that here just like to jump on the train of the previous speaker on it, just to say something. Gerade beim "Eau de Parfum", hätten sich vermutliche viele Leute erhofft, dass es einfach eine stärkere, amplifizierte Version des Originals ist. Jedoch haben YSL wie es so oft passiert, das EdP mit komplett anderen Noten komponiert, was ich persönlich sehr feiere,- die Grapefruit mit den Tonnen Kardamom machen einfach ein komplett neues, aber tolles Geruchsbild.

A Fragrance for Special Occasions

Der La Nuit 2011 hat bei mir 24 Stunden am Handgelenk gerochen, ohne nur Ansatzweise schwach zu werden. Beim 1. Testen im Geschäft (so stand es auch in meinem 1. Kommentar zu dem Neuling..) dachte ich mir nur "Oh, das riecht wie La Nuit de L'Homme". Think of it vl. as 70% LNDH 2013 + 30% Frozen Cologne, but without that almost bitter "dry ice" accord that Frozen Cologne has. Du liebst La Nuit und willst es für den Tag, in intensiver, und etwas frischer? -> Das hier ist es. Dein La Nuit de L'Homme Signature Duft!" Das Eau de Toilette La Nuit de l´Homme Bleu Électrique von Yves Saint Laurent ist seit 2021 erhältlich und gesellt sich zu vielen anderen Flankern der La Nuit-Reihe. Es zeichnet sich durch seinen würzig-süßen Duftverlauf aus und wird als maskulin und abenteuerlich beschrieben. Das Herrenparfum eignet sich aufgrund seiner mittleren, erfrischenden Intensität hervorragend für die Übergangsjahreszeiten, wenn es nicht zu warm und nicht zu kalt ist. Du kannst ihn sowohl zum Ausgehen abends als auch in der Freizeit gut tragen. Auf parfumo.de und flaconi.de sind sich die Rezensent:innen einig, dass es sich hierbei um einen sanften, unkomplizierten und einfach tollen Duft handelt. Einige Parfumkenner suchen die La Nuit de l´Homme-DNA jedoch vergeblich und sind deshalb etwas enttäuscht.

The durability and silage are possibly not quite as strong, but after a few hours you still notice it much better than the normal EdT, a veil remains throughout the day. And the scent is a bit rounder than the Vintage 2013, but the impression and the feeling are very congruent for me. It just "feels" the same. :)

Finally, from the base of the pyramid you will notice tonka bean, characterised by a range of nuances. These are shown from powdery notes of tobacco, to green and dry ones reminiscent of hay, up to the sweetness of vanilla, the versatility of vetiver, with rich facets of herbaceous, smoky and woody, the note of patchouli with an exotic and oriental scent and cashmere wood.
