The product came in a box with instructions on how to assemble. They were clear and easy to follow and the finished wheelbarrow is a joy to use. With a U-shaped handle and robust, yet lightweight, plastic tray, the VonHaus wheelbarrow is a great choice for gardeners who need something that is well balanced and not too heavy. It can be controlled easily and moved in several different ways. Measuring 90 cm wide, this wheelbarrow works best when used in open spaces and wider areas – you may find it challenging to navigate along smaller pathways and around anarrow garden. Had previously bought a plastic wheelbarrow, which was false economy as it is now broken, so I'm glad I invested in the Endurance Galvanised, confident it will last for many years.
Maximum weight load is also something to look out for. Smaller steel wheelbarrows will likely be able to carry more weight than a large-yet-flimsy plastic one! Sometimes it’s better to buy a smaller wheelbarrow of better quality, than buy something bigger for the same price and find that it breaks after a short time. When gardening a wheelbarrow has many uses such as transporting grass, branches, stumps leaves, soil, and many more garden associated materials. Wheelbarrows are great when you need to refresh your bark supply as well, giving the tool an incredible number of tasks that it is helpful for. If you’re working on very uneven terrain, for example doing building work, you might want to choose a wheel with a wider width so that it can spread the load better and a pneumatic tyre that won’t puncture. I needed a substantial wheelbarrow for my new allotment plot which has totally reverted to reeds and weeds like the surrounding countryside. This fits the bill perfectly. A robust barrow which is a pleasure to bounce along and isn't too heavy to begin with. I'm sure it'll outlast me!

Tyres. These can be solid rubber, plastic or pneumatic. Solid rubber or plastic wheels can’t puncture or go flat but they are not as smooth in use as an air filled tyre and can struggle on very rough ground. Pneumatic, air-filled tyres can puncture or start to go flat and need regular pumping up but if kept well pumped up will they are lighter and give a much more comfortable, cushioned ride over bumps and uneven ground.
Wheelbarrow arm length and height both have a key role to play in determining how effectively the load of weight is distributed, too short and the wheelbarrow is easier to tip over, making the load harder to balance especially on one wheel, it does however make it less burdening to carry. My wheelbarrow arrived promptly. It is well made, very sturdy and durable. In addition it is also stable in use.. This is a good investment which I am sure will last for years. I bought this to replace a barrow that I have had for 30 years. It's now on its last legs, but if my new one survives half as long I will be happy. Construction is now lighter, which is to be expected, however it appears to be well made and the pan is nicely galvanised.Whilst made of metal, this still doesn’t substitute for a builder’s wheelbarrow; it’s one of the best wheelbarrows for gardening tasks if you want pneumatic tyres, but it’s not been designed for heavy-duty lifting or building work.
