Make a 1% solution of Virkon™ S by filling a suitable container with water and Virkon™ S according to the dilution table. Stir thoroughly until fully dissolved. Change the solution every 2 to 3 days or when it becomes visibly soiled. CONTROLS: Bacteria of; Actinobacillus Pleuropneumoniae and Clostridium perfringens; Foot and Mouth Disease virus, Fungi of Trichophyton interdigitale (2%). Virkon Aquatic is primarily used as a pond conditioner but can also be used as a powerful disinfectant for sanitising equipment. It has now been used safely for in water sanitisation against serious pathogens at up to 20g per 5000Litres (1000 UK gallons) in many thousands of ponds in the UK, Ireland, Holland, Denmark and worldwide. Once placed in water, becomes a pink solution which is activated within 5 minutes. Built-in colour indicator of strength and use life up to five days after activation (1:100 solution). Comprehensive Protection: Controls equine, pig, and poultry diseases and provides protection for pets, vets, and first responders during disease outbreaks.
Foot Dip Disinfection: Dilute 10 grams of Virkon S to 1 liter of water, replacing the solution when soiled or every 4 to 5 days Surface Disinfection: Dissolve one tablet in 5 liters of water and apply with a pressure washer or sprayer. If VWR’s performance of the services is prevented or delayed by any act or omission of the customer, VWR shall without limiting its other rights or remedies, have the right to suspend performance of the services until the customer remedies the position and VWR shall not be liable for any losses or costs arising from such delay. Health, Safety and Liability Virkon® is a disinfectant possessing broad-spectrum virucidal, bactericidal and fungicidal activity. The effectiveness of Virkon® is further enhanced by its excellent detergent properties, so that clean, disease-free surfaces can be achieved. Virkon® is unique in its composition. Its activity is based on a buffered synergized acid peroxygen system containing a high percentage of surfactant. Virkon® can be used on all surfaces and in all situations. Once diluted in a 1% solution, Virkon® is of low toxicity, non-tainting, and non-irritant. Because of its high detergency and mode of action, Virkon® can be used in an exceptional variety of situations for effective cleaning and virucidal disinfection in a single operation. Virkon® can be applied manually or through all types of cleaning and spraying equipment.Virkon™ S should only be used on water proof or non-porous footwear. Do not use on footwear that is damaged or permeable by water. The customer shall cooperate with VWR in all matters relating to the services, provide all such access and information as is necessary and obtain any licences permissions and consents required before commencement of the services. PROCESSING PLANTS: Spray Virkon™ S at 1% solution to disinfect and clean walls, ceilings and floors. Saturate hard, non-porous surfaces for a period of 10 minutes. Allow surfaces to air dry.
Surface and Water System Disinfection: Effective for routine disinfection of surfaces, earth, wood, concrete, and water systems. Immerse all halters, ropes, and other types of equipment used in handling and restraining animals, as well as forks, shovels, and scrapers used for removing litter and manure. Virkon™ S is intended to disinfect hard, non-porous environmental surfaces, such as: floors, walls, glasshouse structures, ventilation and other equipment, utensils, trays and other containers, water systems, evaporative coolers, storage rooms, and vehicles in greenhouses and other horticultural settings prior to introduction or reintroduction of plants, seeds or soil.Any additional or special terms included by VWR in its written acceptance shall form part of the contract. The terms and conditions of the contract apply equally to the supply of both products and services except where application to one or the other is specified. Place boot into the foot dip and scrub using a soft hand brush making sure that the whole boot is washed thoroughly with disinfectant solution and paying particular attention to the sole.
The customer is responsible for unloading and transporting large and/or heavy items from delivery vans and for supervising the unloading of all other products delivered. Virkon Aquatic doesn't contain harmful detergents, so has little impact on the environment, unlike some disinfectants which are known to cause health problems in fish.

Authorisation will be subject to the condition that the products are returned to VWR Customer Service Centre or to the manufacturer or other source and by the method advised by VWR. Use a mechanical mister to apply the Virkon® S solution at a rate of 1 litre per 10m2 of floor space. x 5gm of Rely+On™ Virkon™ tablets make up approx 5 litres of Virkon Disinfectant. Each 5gm tablet makes up 500mls of Virkon disinfectant.
