En un mundo de sangre, sudor y lágrimas, los sueños se echan a perder, pero la esperanza aún reside en los corazones de nuestros valientes supervivientes.

However, it's been rumoured that Tessa will have a reduced role in After Everything with fans speculating that her scenes in the trailer were filmed for After Ever Happy, and recycled for the new movie. As much as I enjoyed "before" I didn't really like "after". Part of my problem with this book was Doctor Leila- I did expect her story to continue in the "after" section- but it really didn't. I thought she was thrown in to make a point- and I respect that- but her sudden fall from the story -despite her appearance later- wasn't something I enjoyed. I also found the alternate scenarios a bit confusing to read - as there were different point of views- and they really started to drag at one point around 75% also again I didn't get why there were two alternates (I see it's the weight of that decision and what-if's but especially when the story transformed into dating adventures of the parents I questioned that)

The second half of the book is, as the title suggests, after. After the judge makes a decision, the author explores two different outcomes: one in which the judge sides with the mother, and one in which the judge sides with the father. It was thought-provoking to examine the ramifications and consequences of either decision. I’m certain anyone who has made such a heart-wrenching decision has moments of doubt and wondering “what-if”. I had them with my elderly parents and know they would be even stronger when it's your child. A man dies and is born into a fantasy land only to be raised by the undead. He remembers a bit of his past life, and in this life, he swears not to repeat those mistakes. The second half of the book “After” has alternating chapters with different outcomes. I found this to be a unique storytelling method and besides “Choose Your Own Adventure” books, I can’t think of another book that takes this route. While unique, I did enjoy the first half of the book better. Good question. Glad you asked. While it initially seemed like Eivor was just dreaming of Asgard and Jotunheim after drinking Valka’s potions, the truth is a little more convoluted. She is actually travelling to a time before the Isu originally fell to the Toba Catastrophe but in a Norse skin, thus Eivor is an Isu called Havi - the ancient name for Odin - and planning for the inevitable Ragnarok via a solar flare. Eivor is experiencing a Norse version of actual history, which means that Isu we have seen before, such as Juno and Aletheia are here too, just represented in Norse form. I enjoyed the first half of the book much more than the second half. As I mentioned the second half was repetitive at times but did show the sad ways that a child's death can affect a couple. Not only the child's death but what happens when two people cannot agree on something. How it can wear on them, their relationship and those in their lives. Many couples and marriages do not last after the loss of a child. What will happen to this one?

This adventure manhua covers a lot of aspects similar to The Beginning After the End. The main character getting reborn as a new self, and finding the people he loves is one of them. Solo Leveling and The Beginning After the End are nowhere similar if we compare both of their premises. But most of the other aspects match well. This is the story of Max and Pip- two parents who love each other but who love their son Dylan more. Most of the story is told from Pip and Max perspectives, but we also hear from Dylan's doctor. Dr. Khalili works hard for the children she treats. We see how difficult it is being the person who often has to give bad news, and how hard it is to not get emotionally involved with patients and family members. This much is unclear. While Basim has managed to heal himself with the staff, he is still an Isu. In fact, he speaks to Aletheia inside the staff (who he calls ‘my love’) and says that the Heir of Memories performed her task perfectly. Layla was apparently always destined to die in the vault, bringing him the staff of power and Aletheia, and letting him out into the universe. An Isu has a new body and a staff of ultimate power. Oops. That’s the next ten years of Assassin’s Creed organised…

There is a huge assortment of minigames to try, which are all surprisingly dense and fleshed out. If you didn't know, you can call one of your NPC friends to join you, like visiting the cinema or a bar. This time, you’re the one bothering your friends to go bowling! Both parents want the best for their child, but that may mean something different to each of them. Both of them are torn, hurt, worried, sleep-deprived, edgy and their different opinions put a big wedge into their relationship. They can't find peace in the other's proposed decision. A judge is to declare the fate of their son after hearing the brief presentations of different treatment options by specialists. Before incorporated the days leading up to, and directly following, Dylan's parents receiving the devastating news that his tumor had grown to such an extent that they needed to make a decision regarding his future treatment. We were offered three differing, equally valuable perspectives – mother (Pip), father (Max) and one of the consultants looking after Dylan (Dr. Leila Khalili). I was planning to give three stars to this book. But I hit my hand( actually I bite my fingers, too) to stop myself and asked me what the hell I'm doing? I know this is not the book I waited for but if it’s best way for the author to share her feeling by ripping a wounded piece from her heart and pouring her insecurities without giving a second thought are the bravest things that not much people can manage. Now you’ll most likely be replaying the heists if you’re trying to get gold medals on them. However, another reason to replay these memorable missions is to see how different scenarios turn out. Did you want to go in guns blazing? Or did you want to take a more tactical approach?

I know this writer is genius, I know what she has dome to me when I was reading “I let you go”! I talked gibberish for one week at least and lost my face expressions, looked like a botox addict after her big twist punched me several times, so this is not the surprising, smartly written book I desired and wished to read! The second half of the book explores what would happen if the judge decides for both parents. If he decides in the Mother's favor, what lies in store for their son and for each parent. If the Judge runs in the Father's favor, what lies in store for their son and each parent. This was an interesting concept but also a repetitive one. While GTA 5 does have a great story, many of the game’s most memorable moments come from the various Strangers and Freaks missions.
