True coconut but sweet from the vanilla notes. I have no problem with longevity (but needs overspraying), I can smell this throughout the day - my only negative is the musk but I think this is what makes it last long on my skin

It stays close to the skin, other people wont really notice it, I think. Even directly after I sprayed it, and when it dryed down, I have to sniff my wrist to smell it. It´s very light. Almost like a bodyspray, but the lasting power is longer than a bodyspray. It is quite nice. Initially you may think of Body shop or Bath and Body works items...or you may continue to do so.. :) I really wanted to like it and thought it would be lighter and breezier, but it gave me a pounding headache. None of her other fragrances have done that for me. It's very fun, girly, cheap, not-so-nasty, fruity scent without being offensive. I concur - a strawberry daiquiri in a bottle!

With my chemistry, NYC just smells like sunscreen and baby powder. I don’t get the artificial strawberry candy at all. I get top notes of Coppertone and base notes of Cabbage Patch Kid.
