He also lives with his cousin Dimitris who has a hard time communicating and is under suspicion for women missing on the island. There are posters of missing women. Alice is intrigued and wants to find out more.

From the New York Times bestselling author of Pieces of Her and The Silent Wife, an electrifying standalone thriller. My Thoughts: I do love Watson’s books. She has a way of storytelling and plot delivering twists that just keeps you at the edge of your seat. I have enjoyed many of her books. The story is a slow burn with character building until about 40% in. Even though is was slow, the unreliable narrator kept the story moving in an intriguing manner. There were some parts where the past was intertwined with the present and it was hard to identify the who/when. At a very minimum, there should be a paragraph break. Another con for me was some plot holes, however it was very slight. We are always delighted to hear from authors. We are currently open for review requests and we are happy to review a wide variety of genres. Please submit your information below and we will be in touch asap. Any issues with the book list you are seeing? Or is there an author or series we don’t have? Let me know! I thought I had guessed the crux of the story but it turns out I was miles away in certain things and I LOVED that, a real surprise ending is always a great bonus to a fantatsic read….and that’s what this is, a real psychological/drama/family/relationship thriller of a book It’s the day I’ve been dreaming about my whole life. As I glide down the flower-strewn aisle overlooking the Greek orange groves, in my pearl-encrusted ivory gown, I finally see my fiancé Nik. We look like the perfect couple, but not all fairy tales have happy endings… Overall, this was a fun reading experience with not so likeable characters (other than Alice's sister, Heather), psychological suspense, and a thrilling conclusion. I look forward to trying more of this author's books in the future!

As usual from the beginning I was totally engrossed in the story. Alice’s life is a bit if a mess, she has recently broken up with her husband and is also carrying the weight of not being able to conceive, something she desperately wanted with Dan. Am a big fan of this author and always look forward to her books and to see what she has brought to the book world this time

Now a USA Today bestselling author, Sue explores the darker side of life, writing psychological thrillers with big twists. After sending Bella a Christmas card for years with no response, a few years before I'd decided to add something more personal- one of Mum's recipes. I had included various Christmas recipes each year since, from gingerbread to chocolate and cranberry brownies- Bella's favorite as a child. I saw these as a reminder of the good times we'd shared and hoped she'd feel the same. Just writing down those recipes reminded me of Mum in her kitchen- the soft, wobbly fold of flour into butter, the grit of sugar, the heady fragrance of chocolate, sweet vanilla and the warmth of ginger.”
