I own over 50 bottles of perfume, many of them niche or high end, and yet my 100ml bottle of Princess is already half empty. That says something. She's sweet, but not cloying, thanks to a generous underpinning of aquatic notes. Be warned though, the chocolate might not come through on you. It definitely doesn't on me. Instead, I get pleasant, but generic honeydew-and-vanilla kind of sweetness.

The name ‘Princess’ matches perfectly with its pretty clear cut crystal love heart shaped glass bottle. Finally, when it dried down, I could smell the dark chocolate and some sweetness that might be the guava notes. Opening: You are definitely met with the guava and Lilly notes. It smells floral, but now quite… because immediately after you are met with the chocolate MIDDLE notes which makes it sweet and not too powdery which tends to happen with notes like lilly.Vera Wang Princess EDT opens with a moderate projection of sweet, fruity, chocolate, and white floral notes. The opening is fresh, delectable, inviting, gourmand, bold, and dense. The vanilla, apricot, guava, dark chocolate, Tiare flower, and tuberose are the opening most prominent notes. The vanilla and dark chocolate create a note that is delicious, sweet, cozy, dense, dessert-like, rich, slightly bitter, and gourmand. The guava and apricot are the two most noticeable fruity notes, rich, dense, and tropical. The tiara flower and tuberose are the floral notes that accompany the gourmand and fruits notes with an intense, white floral, sweet, creamy, dense, and fresh green accord. As the fragrance commences to dry down, the amber develops a sweet and mildly powdery touch that supports the fragrance. The fragrance is relatively linear, the mandarin orange and apple and faint, short-lived opening notes; towards the dry down the amber develops a mild powdery touch, and finally, the notes lose some intensity. Once Vera Wang Princess EDT has reached its full dry down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, sweet vanilla, dark chocolate, fruity, guava, apricot, tiare flower, and tuberose fragrance with ambery and woody accords. The fragrance feels casual, comforting, creamy, delectable, dense, energizing, floral, fruity, gentle, gourmand, intimate, inviting, mild, moderate-quality, modern, natural, playful, powdery, rich, romantic, short-lived, sweet, syrupy, warm, young, and very pleasant. A beautiful combination of a soft scent of vanilla mixed with dark chocolate with a hint of soft white flowers, followed by a delicate creamy musk. The fragrance itself is so feminine, a perfect blend of fruity and floral notes with a creamy depth that comes from the chocolate and the vanilla. Honestly, Princess is something I wore every day and never got tired of but lately every bottle I've had has felt like it's been watered down and barely lasts half an hour on me. I can hardly smell it at all after 10 minutes or so - this is not the Princess I have known and loved. I've been pining for the original princess and can only think that this scent must have been reformulated???? I keep spraying to try to rekindle the memories of the original but it really isn't the same anymore. Has it got a new formula??? Or is it me who has changed???? This is an incredibly sexy and intoxicating perfume. I’m so happy I get the chocolate and vanilla cause that’s exactly what I was hoping for. It really does remind me of a princess, as Katy Perry’s Killer Queen is reminiscent of a queen. SEASONS: Winter, spring, fall, colder days, daytime, nighttime, and climate-controlled environments.

I've wanted this perfume since I was a little girl seeing as it was a fragrance that my grandmother used to keep in her bathroom cabinet. It's decidedly feminine and super youthful despite how powdery and floral it can get on the dry down. I don't really get a lot of the Tiare flower note which is a little disappointing since I love that scent, it defintely comes accross like a floral-fruity scent on the skin but it doesn't last very long. I'm embarrassed to admit how many bottles of this I've got through over the years. In fact, I still have two unopened bottles in my wardrobe. Whenever I see it on sale I have to buy it. This perfume was given to me on my birthday, some years ago and it was a fully guaranteed compliment-getter. Seriously, everywhere I went there would always be someone who complimented me on the smell...and here's the deal, when I was asked what I was wearing I felt somewhat sheepish saying 'Princess' because it sounds quite childish and also because the bottle looks marginally immature. However, the bottle has grown on me and I quite enjoy it now. The pretty purple liquid in the crystal-looking heart-shaped bottle is just quintessentially feminine and quite fairy-tale-like, and although the lid is fiddly and often gets lost, even that has grown on me.The note which truly stands out to me is a lovely hot chocolate note; warm, creamy, and inviting. It has a beauty and magic all its own. There is also an aquatic element to this fragrance which only adds to its beauty, like starlight on a lake. It is captivating and magical. I am simply enchanted by this perfume. It smells so beautiful on me, so soft and ethereal that it almost seems unreal, like a dream or a fantasy. My husband loves it too. It is his absolute favorite perfume of mine. So delicate and romantic, enchanting and ethereal. Princess is absolutely one of the best cheap perfumes, and one of my all-time favourite perfumes. It smells powdery, chocolatey, floral, and fancy. If the people you're with can't recognize it, they'd think it was designer by how expensive it smells. It does smell the slightest bit 'Old Lady' but I think this adds to the perfume's charm and expensive-smelling factor. It's long-lasting and has great sillage. Quite mature due to it's floral and powdery notes but also works for younger audiences due to it's playfulness and chocolate note.
