In The Bible in a Year podcast, Fr. Mike Schmitz walks you through the entire Bible in 365 episodes, providing commentary, reflection, and prayer along the way. This is a beautiful study bible. There are great notes and reference materials. And if you are looking for a new study bible, I can highly recommend this volume. I have owned many bibles over the last 45ish years. This is one of the best I have used for study. Aside from Sunday mass readings I had no clue where to start…except for at the beginning. Of course that didn’t last long. To do so, and to show God my gratitude, last year, end of 2022, I promised God I would read his story once and for all.
