The voice part of the Vision Pro, which will be critical, is not yet cooked. Since Apple is not yet at the forefront of generative AI, I would expect some issues getting that capability to work. However, the eye and hand elements appear to be mature in comparison. The trade-off is that it does not seal to your face as tightly, so you may get some external light bleeding. I did, but I didn’t find it that annoying, even when using the device outside. Nader Optics was founded in 2015, when it did not pursue VR (virtual reality) products that were in the air. In the past seven years, the GOOVIS team has concentrated on the field of high-definition head mounted display, and has never gone with the tide. GOOVIS G3 MaxAlone, the Goovis is just a display, but it comes with a streaming media player with a battery that powers the device. However, it will also plug into a set-top box, game console, smartphone, or PC with a USB-C or HDMI cable if you want to use it without the media player. The Goovis has no external cameras, but it does come with a TV-like controller to control what you stream. Since it runs Android TV, it should load most third-party streaming apps, including Apple TV+ (though I did not try to load it). Given that the Goovis G3 Max is on the market and the Apple Vision Pro is not, right now, the Goovis is better because you can get it.The vision problem caused by the use of electronic products has become a topic of concern for the whole society. GOOVIS’s full line products use silicon based OLED screens and natural low blue light, so there is no need to worry about the problem of blue light hurting the eyes, and it has obtained a number of visual health related certifications from domestic and international authorities. It should be a lot more comfortable to use than Vision Pro, and I have used the Goovis for several hours without leaving marks on my face or being uncomfortable. Also included in the box is an HDMI to USB-C adapter. It's a slimline device that can take any HDMI signal and convert it to the required USB-C, which then makes the G3 Max compatible with pretty much any device out there. The only caveat here is that because HDMI doesn't usually provide power, you will need to use a USB-C cable as well (or USB-A to USB-C doesn't matter), but that will inject the required power. The exception to this is the G4 media player box.
