While I consider the TFV range of tanks very thirsty, with the 6.5ml bubble glass that thirst isn’t quite as noticeable – in other words I’m not filling it up every 5 minutes lol. I am very impressed by the vapour production that the TFV18 mini can produce along with the consistent flavour!

Putting the limitations aside, it was time to vape.The S1 Mesh 0.15ohm coil is rated between 40-80 watts and is best between 60-70 watts.From experience, I knew my sweet spot was 66 watts (I usually go for 66.6 watts but there are no decimal places, BAH!). Therefore it’s best vaped between 80-120W based on your personal preference. You can get a large amount of vapour from this tank but it does make a loud noise when you vape, especially with the airflow wide open. Five levels of safety protection - Low Voltage, Overheat, Short Circuit, Overcharge and Overdischarge I’ve got to say when I first opened the kit I was hit with a sense of the wow factor and to a smaller extent the feeling of nostalgia for the earlier days of vaping; to me this is a proper box mod, regardless of what you use as a topper!I tried this mode only once with the Hellvape Dead Rabbit V3 RDA and felt like I had burnt my tongue lol. Pros I won’t be going into great detail with the TFV18 mini as I have already covered it within my Smok Fortis review, I will say however the tank has tri airflow and comes with a sleeve mouth piece it breaks down to 5 parts including the coil for easy cleaning! Smok R-Kiss 2 Mod The mod looks and functions great if you’re after a lot of vapour and a hot vape the R-Kiss 2 can handle the power. I was more than a little put off when testing the kit in bypass mode due to the sheer power pushed through the coils!

I personally found the R-Kiss 2 mod a delight to use as I suffer from arthritis, and the screen and font size are great and very easy to read. TFV18 Mini Battery life will depend on which cells you use, but most will easily last a full day and evening.The charging screen shows separate battery icons and percentage, and it charges at a reasonable 2 Amps.The longest I had to wait was 1 ½ hours, but under an hour on average as I don’t like to run my batteries too low so a top up charge here and there will give you longer use. Is it a Smok? The single and dual mesh coils for this particular tank have been around for a while and we know what to expect - plenty of vapour and some decent flavour. What’s great about the mesh coils with this V2 Mini Tank is the flexibility you have depending on whether you prefer more cloud or flavour. For even more vapour production, vape at a higher wattage using theSmok single mesh coil. The TFV Mini V2 (TFV8 Baby V2) tank is crafted from Stainless Steel and can utilise the high power output of the R-Kiss 2 mod. Filing and refilling the tank is easier and safer thanks to a childproof top filling mechanism. There’s an adjustable triple airflow built into the bottom of the tank, which allows you a greater degree of control to deliver either a tighter or looser inhale. When it comes to e-liquid, we recommend a 70% VG or higher VG e-liquid. I was in for a welcome surprise when I opened the TPD edition box; a spare glass! Recent Smok TPD kits have often missed this which I found annoying, not only do we have to suffer 2ml but we get less in the kit too, so the spare glass restored my faith.Better still,it’s a proper glass unrestricted one, I don’t know the capacity but it’s more than the double walled preinstalled one – shhhhh let’s hope nobody notices!Underneath the screen, you have left and right buttons to adjust settings such as the wattage with the type-c USB port below that. At the bottom, you have the battery door which allows access to place your dual 18650s (sold separately). This is firm and holds the batteries in place well. If you seek a single 18650 battery mod, the Innokin 217 Z Force is a useful alternative that also accepts 21700s or 20700s. Just popping it amongst a few of my other lovely Smoks, it looks lost and shy.For me, it isn’t one that stands proud in my collection but one man’s rubbish is another’s treasure.I sound harsh perhaps, and to be fair it’s not ugly and I’m sure it suits others tastes more. From the top the R-Kiss 2 has a well turned 510 threaded connection plate, with a spring loaded gold plated pin.

I would like to say I’d recommend this kit! However the R-Kiss 2 kit is not going to be for everyone; hence I would never recommend this pairing to inexperienced vapers at least not with the included TFV18 Mini. Would I buy this kit again due loss or damage? On the left side of the mod is a large lateral fire bar, which is especially welcome to those of us that have dexterity issues, the right side is plain and covered with the silicone paint, both sides have bevelled edges making the device comfortable to hold in the hand for extended periods!
