A Boatful of Lemons is a perfect summer read and one I know I will read over and over because the writing is beautiful. The husband never gets any comeuppance for his misdemeanours, never shows regret - in fact it’s random chance that steers fate in a different way. For anyone who may be thinking of coming to Positano or who has been there, the book is something you could read on the beach in Positano, read quickly. Positano has 3,800 residents, so it's the sort of town where everybody knows everybody and you easily spot a visitor. A Boatful of Lemons available on kindle and as a paperback, but pro tip: you’ll need to first go to the “kindle” or “books” section/tab and THEN type in the title to locate it - and remember it’s Boatful with one “L”. The outside space for me was what made it because I grew up in a place with a very big garden and woods at the back and space around and no neighbors overlooking us.Despite the poor storyline, the author still managed to encapsulate Italy, which is high on my bucket list. I think it was around about 2011 that I started posting a little bit more, but I didn't really try to make a “thing” until about 2016/2017. She shoots many videos using a selfie-stick while walking along with her rapid-fire dialog flowing, never missing a beat to give a detailed account of the activity at hand. It doesn't have an amazing view, but it's got an outside seating area and an inside area and the owners are incredibly friendly, very cheerful.
