My mother is into fragrances as I am (although she doesn't even have one tenth of the amount of fragrances that I have). I layer it with my strong powdery fragrances during the day (soft projection) to make them more crowd pleasing and wear it every night to bed, sniffing myself. Each one offers something for a different mood (even if some of those moods are super similar and only subtle desires differentiate them) and this one is no different.

I really Admire Sarah and I have to put it to her the way she creates her fragrances she works closely with the perfumers and know what she likes. On the flipside, before trashing the bottle, I let my mom test it, since the rule of thumb between we has, 99% of the time, been if it's a scrubber for me, it will smell fabulous on she.Lovely smells like pillow talk, the vulnerability that follows sex, especially with someone you love.

Rare Pearls is slightly more floral, but they are so close that they are like sisters that look and act extremely similar. It used to smell like a sweet well balanced floral creamy white musk and now its a screachy hit you in the face lavender top note that over powers everything else in the formula. I tried this today and my first thought was that it smells just like Jovan Musk, I had a chuckle when I saw others on here thought so too.

I like both Narcisso Rodriques for her and SJP's Lovely - they are similar, but when you compare them both on your arm, you can pick up the subtle differences. First spritz is very floral, honestly like a rose even though that’s not listed in the notes, with a splash of citrus. Lavender can be a risky note for me, but here it avoids the sharp medicinal quality it sometimes has and instead is slightly powdery and aromatic. Sarah Baker Perfumes Lovely You is available as a 50 ml Eau de Parfum, a 10 ml roll-on and a 236 ml Body Mist.

That is really a surprise to me because when i first sprayed it on the back of my hand just to take some sniffs, all i perceived was only woody lavender with subtle sweetness and greens. However I love testing and reapplying perfume, and so I can see how lovely it can be for so many now.I am not sure if my nose changed or the juice, but I just picked it up in the evening after a hot day and it smells much less artificially commercial.
