The white base plate is there for support, and it allows you to pose the AT-ST as you wish, but the micro build is also capable of standing without it (albeit only on two feet). I was really looking forward for this kind of characters in the Star Wars Advent Calendar 2021, unfortunately the calendar is almost over, so let see what comes in the last two days. It’s been a while since we’ve had a Droid Tri-Fighter set, with the last being 75044 Droid Tri-Fighter from way back in 2014.

The presence of the V-35 in the Star Wars Advent Calendar 2022 suggests that LEGO will release a dedicated set in 2023. The grays and reds of the engines really stand out, and the small clear windshield sits nearly in the center. I love it when LEGO (and Disney) lets loose with these funny takes on established Star Wars characters, and this Summer Vacation Darth Vader is one of the best yet. As with all of the previous LEGO Star Wars Advent calendars, the 2022 version will also feature micro builds and Minifigures from across the entire franchise. With themes ranging from the wizarding world and a galaxy far, far away to Marvel’s Avengers, the festive goodies inside could include anything from a Gonk Droid dressed as a reindeer ( Star Wars fans will understand) to familiar faces from the Harry Potter series with suitably festive accessories.
As a set, it looks alright, but the Hoth ice cave really comes into its own when you combine it with the previous day’s Luke Skywalker in Hoth gear. It’s hard to believe that there are only 4 days remaining in the 2022 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar – check in tomorrow to see what we get! I LOVE the inclusion of this tiny Mouse Droid, heading home to his tiny mouse hole in the Weapons Rack.
Overall, this is definitely a fun build that lets you have some fun in a way that none of the other builds allow. Only reviews that feature the label "Verified Review" have been checked to ensure that the author actually used or purchased the product. Gonk droids are becoming increasingly popular, so it’s nice to see LEGO put a twist on this classic droid. Looks wise and articulation-wise, it’s a lot of fun and will help make your battle scenes extra intense. We’ve never had an Acclamator-Class Assault Ship as a LEGO set before, so this is really groundbreaking.Gonk Droids, are one of the most lovable droids from the Original Trilogy, mostly because of their blocky bodies, and stumpy legs. For example, on the back side the main engines are replicated with the 1×1 round transluncent plate. A new-for-May-2023 Luke Skywalker LEGO minifigure and R2-D2 LEGO droid figure complete a spectacular centerpiece.
